I've been here for several times..., this small and clean park located in main road infront of PLN office and nearby city government office (Kantor Walikota Balikpapan). No ticketing. Good place for walking around in the morning or do some light exercises...., or just spend the time with your friends/family. With a garden fountain making this place nicer for taking some pictures...., and also provided with rocky footpath for natural reflexology.

It's a good place for rest on outdoor. Unfortunately the lights will be turn off on weekdays at nights.

Many vendors selling most of common people's local favorite menus of food and beverages around it but the main point for the park to build isn't about adults doing something fishy inside ... This area should be much safer for kids to play and enjoying as well as families.

I think this park is great! You could relax and enjoy the view here. You could also do some light exercise like jogging, etc.

Provide wifi for wifi.id user. A lot of choice for food also this place is clean and suitable for bring your family but doesnt has a proper childzone

Nice small park in the balikpapan main road. During night time you can find variety of food hawker. Nasi goreng, mie ayam, gorengan are some of the food offered. During daytime a lot of school boy/girl and some parents sitting around the park

Small park surrounded by street foods and busy traffic. The fountain in the center was almost like a landmark for this town.

This place is awesome. Lot of romantic spot for couple ❤. There is stone-walk through for therapy, and its monumen is beautiful.

The largest park in city of Balikpapan, placed in the heart of the city, not far from the most favorite mall (The Plaza Balikpapan), just a stone throw away from the beach of culinary (Bandar Balikpapan), neighbor with City Police Office (Polres Balikpapan), beside the new largest parking area Gedung Klandasan (ex Gelora Theatre), just few minutes by foot to the beautiful mosque (Masjid Agung At Taqwa), Major Office, Post Office, Center of Culinary Area and Indonesia Red Cross Office.
This park is also become the landmark of Balikpapan city.

Many blogs claim that this park is a nice place to hang out, but I found out that it was dark (literally) and unexciting. There were several street food stalls nearby, but nothing special.

Great place to hangout, any day of the week is fine. Varied food to choose from. Just be aware of your surroundings.
