This is a huge high end shopping mall. Very tourist-isty area. Many places to buy things as well as window shop. Parking is naturally expensive as it in town district. Very spacious parking nd wider roads. However, remember where you park is very important as the parking area is a huge place.
Food is fantastic. One can find almost every genre of food and drinks
One can literally spend the whole day in there.

One of the best choice in the shopping street Orchard of Singapore.
Well organized with hundreds of shops in variety of goods.
The basement was to large and little big difficult to remember the way to go. It's good idea to set up some more information boards here.
The drop off and pick up area quite difficult, if when you come by bus, especially while the bad weather.

The biggest surprise to me is how little has changed in Ngee Ann City since i last been here few years back. The overall look and appearance of this mall is beginning to look really dated. Perhaps the biggest saving grace is the nice variety of food street below and also the big Kinokuniya book store but other than that, not much attractions.

Always like this mall. No hidden angles and corners like others in Singapore. Shops easily accessible. Takashimaya is the anchor tenant, with
Cold storage at basement which offers fine range of groceries and take aways like sushi. Can be very crowded during sale period.

Great mall, great location, great ambience. Beautiful surroundings. Almost all famous brands. Nice gentry. Good facilities. Crowded on weekends.

One of my favorite hangout places! I love visiting the Kinokuniya bookstore there and also the Takashimaya departmental store. There are many good restaurants and also a basement 2 filled with a variety of food stores. There's also the Cold Storage supermarket in basement 2. The atrium event hall in basement 2 always holds big sale events, a place worth watching out for.

Susan Jain (10/03/2018 06:50)
From international luxury goods to groceries, all under one roof. The Takashimaya Department store is a fabulous explore for Westerners -- it's not Macy's or Marks & Spencer! My daughter's favorite is the cool little stationery section in the basement, crammed with funky Asian notebooks and coveted Korean small nib pens. Enjoy!

The mall's basement has a great variety of food. Mostly Japanese food but that can be bought like a snacks. Aside from the food stalls in front, there are also occasional events in the back area with food products from different countries each time.
There is also a cold storage in the same area with premium products from both local and oversea.

Gorgeous mall. Has everything under one roof and super convenient to get to! Highly recommended for people who have never been.

Richard Miro (21/11/2017 14:11)
One of the most popular malls around the city. Has lots of store choices. Has a nice view from the outside for street photography of tourists.

A great shopping mall.
You can get anything you want here. From shopping to dining. I Love to come here although the parking rates is on the high side (Remember to top up your cash card before heading here) but its all worth it. Chance upon D' Good Cafe and had my lunch there, food is GOOD. Had the truffle pasta, lobster roll, roasted chicken breast. Everything is so good👍👍👍

The service from.the sales staff is excellent.
Friendly, approachable and gentle in handling the customer.
I bought the Coach products and I am very satifued with the service.
The Chinese staff that I attended to me deserves commendation but I forgot to ask for her bane

Amazing Klang (01/10/2017 11:55)
One of the most popular malls here with the Japanese department store Takashimaya located here on 5-levels. You can get everything here including fresh food from the basement food court or Cold Storage supermarket to branded cosmetics or clothes. Many famous brands are also found in this building.

A modern n vibrant very big shopping mall with many unique exclusive shops and outlets of jewellery, fashion and etc!
Though lots of upper class exclusive shops there , there are also many popular shops to all ages and all walks of life!
Easily to be accessed by public transport of buses and MRT and also taxi stands there and also parking lots for probate car owners.
Many good restaurants there and also many good eatery and a nice food court in the basement at Takashimaya at reasonable prices.
Frequently there are promotions of different items at the basement of Takashimaya near the famous meeting places for public nearby he big fountains !
A must to go when in Orchard Road area either just for leisure , shopping or eating or meeting friends!

The go-to for shopping - if you like shopping in a nice big mall with all the big-name brands. It's convenient in the middle of the shopping belt. Almost all tourists i know wl get their shopping fix there.

jayson alimpangog (07/09/2017 00:08)
the place is good for window shopping and eating out. very accessible to public transport (ex. MRT) and interconnected to other underground malls.

Yung Hue Tjong (04/09/2017 05:56)
Still one of my favourite after all this time. The mix of products and F&B establishments is balanced for me.

Andrew Tung (11/08/2017 05:01)
A great mix of shops and eateries, with options for almost everyone. It's location along Orchard Road also makes it easy to walk to other malls in the area. Events are also regularly held at the plaza and fairs at Basement 2.

Jeff K (03/07/2017 23:57)
Lots of food and shops available for various budgets from mid to high end. Gathering places for locals and foreign workers during weekends. Best to do booking if planning to dine at some of the restaurants.

Balázs Szirmai (30/06/2017 08:00)
A huge shopping mall in Singapore, full of shops and restaurants. It has a surprisingly good atmosphere. If you are going to Singapore on Orchard, you should visit it.

Shailendra Trivedi (14/06/2017 14:47)
Superb mall on orchard road. They have nice big space, a couple of camel store along with Mac Studio. When I was there, there was sale going on in the lower basement on bags and suitcases. Value of money stuff.

Adrian Quek (09/06/2017 06:47)
Nice shopping center. Lots of variety of food.
Weekend event on promotion..
I love this fountain.
Look grand glamor shinny like a wishing fountain.

Mohammed Farhad Karim (12/05/2017 16:56)
In my opinion this is the best shopping mall in Orchard. It has all the best brand and boutique shops. However the best is Takashimaya Department Store where you will find anything you ever think off, ranging from luxury to mid tier brands.

Superdumpling Photos (23/04/2017 23:13)
An iconic Singapore institution on Orchard Road. Always has great fairs on Basement 2. Food selections are great, from the food court to the restaurants.
Within walking distance from Orchard MRT.

Josh Ng (07/04/2017 10:48)
Still THE icon along Orchard Road after 20 years. Its reddish granite wall facade is unique. Rather upscale stores but still not as bad as other malls.

Ryan Vincent Vicente (16/03/2017 00:24)
It's a big mall in the middle of Orchard Road. A short walk from either Orchard or Somerset MRT stations. It has a wide range of shops including high end ones. It even has an appliance section on the top floor. There are lots of shopping options too if you visit the department store area. Food choices are plenty as well. Their fair section at the basement looks like a perpetual thing, only stopping to change themes every couple of weeks.

Mel Yeo (15/03/2017 23:50)
Huge mall with tons of merchandise available from cheap to high end. Same with food as well. You can choose cheaper food court option or fine dining restaurants all under one roof.

It is located snack in the heart of the city so it's very accessible.

Kai Shin Aw (05/03/2017 00:27)
A mall with two sections. The upscale section when entering from above ground and the more daily brands when going underground. Very well maintained with consistent update of events

Jian Lin Lee (04/03/2017 14:43)
Ngee Ann is a mix of upmarket shopping and F&B joints, and decent amenities outlets like Watson and Guardian. It is huge and it is a good place to spend the afternoon. I often entertain at the various F&B joints there like East Ocean.

Eddie Tan (03/03/2017 05:30)
The one of the older mall in the Orchard area but this place still presents the charm. Good range of shops and restaurants. Always like the central area in basement 2 where there has been different fairs several times each year.

Jessica Wu (13/02/2017 06:48)
An older building but has been upkept, evidently. Very clean and full of designer stores I couldn't even imagine affording. Marble everything. There is a neat bookstore on the top floor (or one of the top floors) that is the biggest one in Singapore.

Hob Oh (01/01/2017 13:29)
Shopping Centre pretty much catering to all segments- the shoppers will like the large range of boutiques, the chi-chi will love the higher end, the normal not-so-chi2 the "normal" boutiques (shops) 😒, the "masses" 😐 the regular atrium events, everyone the food levels and restaurants, cafes (that's me!! 😁). Also for window shoppers (lots of windows!), non-shoppers (lots of seats), exercisers (lots of corridors), people watchers. Love visiting here!

Ernest Kwame Adu (25/10/2016 08:35)
A nice high-end mall which hosts well known brands, such as Louis Vuitton, Ralph Lauren, and Michael Kors. Most stores close at 21:30 (9:30 PM).

Desmond Sukotjo (18/10/2016 09:20)
Love this mall. Lots of food selection. Good foodcourt in the basement in front of cold storage (supermarket). And the basement is connected to other mall, Wisma Atria and ION.

Chyan Phang (02/10/2016 10:33)
Arguably still Singapore's top shopping mall anchored by high fashion brands, the best bookstore in the country (Kinokuniya), and the ever-popular Takashimaya department store with its fine range of Japanese eats and food products at basement level two.

Aldrin Tee (08/09/2016 00:46)
Locally known as Taka or Takashimaya, this is one of the endearing landmarks of the Orchard Road Belt. Has one of the best food courts with a huge variety of foods (especially Japanese) and ever changing events in the main square in the basement. One of the best places for shopping.

Ryan Choo (04/09/2016 13:10)
Sparks disco may no longer exist, but the anchor tenant Takashimaya is still holding strong after all these years! Never forget to visit Kinokuniya to have a good read and purchase some latest books! Need I mention the foodcourt at the basement? 😍

sarita iyengar (30/06/2016 09:51)
Great stores...love the fact they have kinokuniya on 2nd floor and taka too..they have the high end stores like fendi, chanel also.. we sort have have a bad experience walking via Ngee Ann city. Some con artists for time share holiday homes caught us and took us into their office in a higher floors of ngee ann city..they wasted 2 hours convincing us to take something we didnt want to invest..beware of such scams.

Ji Fong Wong (24/06/2016 00:51)
A good family friendly shopping mall along Orchard. There's a good selection of Japanese food / snacks shops and ice cream / Gelato shops at the B2 level of Takashimaya. The shops nearest the entrance are usually the more permanent shops, and the ones near the escalator in front of the cold storage are shops that are usually temporary for their current event (which more often than not is Japanese.)

So if you're looking to try something new for the day, check out that area if anything interests you because the area would change in your next visit.

Siew Hoon Lee (21/06/2016 13:40)
Kinokuniya, Takashimaya food hall, Bath & Body Works, Crystal Jade, Tampopo Ramen, too many mouthwatering places to list!

Phil Han (14/06/2016 14:56)
The worst mall ever. The underpass that connects people to the MRT is a safety hazard waiting for a stampede. Takashimaya is so tired. I don't know anyone who shops there. Kinokuniya is cool and the expensive Chinese restaurants are good.

Natalia Imelda (15/05/2016 11:54)
Try hokaido icecream and taiyaki at takashimaya foodcourt
