Have you seen a more beautiful yoga studio?

Contemporary architecture, stunning views of the jungle- the structure seemingly floating above a precipice. Friendly staff and instructors, free lockers, went to bikram yoga, loved the class, enjoyed looking at the visiting gecko on the wall throughout. Showers very welcome, didn't stop in the restaurant/bar downstairs, but noticed the design of the place. Recommend!

Marvelous view, great and modern facility(there’s a hair dryer at shower too) but the class I took (vinyasa) was a bit mundane. Other Ubud yoga studios emphasize on spirituality, but this one feels like a studio in an expensive shopping mall. However, if you’re sick of smelly mats of other studios, this one is for you.

I fell in love with this studio and its architecture the first time I came to try out their classes. Smaller and intimate than many other more famous studios in town, it turned out to be my favourite in Ubud and I have tried more than a few. I got a weekly unlimited pass and enjoyed different styles of yoga: fly high, hatha, vinyasa, bikram, kundalini and in fact felt so comfortable there, as everyone treats you very friendly and as if you were truly their friend that I’d spend most of my time there, lounging on the chairs, reading my book or refreshing myself with a juicy fresh coconut after a class. Some of the instructors were outstanding in their approach, I especially enjoyed Ari’s and Nathalie’s work & adjustments, thank you ladies and I hope I shall be able to come and work with you again in the future ;-)

Beautiful yoga center in the middle of nature. The view from the yoga rooms is stunning! Downstairs there is a cafe the food is ok.. We had a cuscus salad and it was good.....but kinda pricey. Coffee should taste better though. Worth a visit if you want to relax and detox.

Go here to admire the gorgeous property, stay for the FlyHigh yoga classes, and cap your day with awesome fresh juice or a coconut. Much smaller and more intimate classes than YogaBarn, with a stunning view of the gorge and river.

Simply the place to be for yoga in Ubud! Wondrous location above the stream, clever architecture and a great calendar of classes, seminars and teachers' trainings.

Amazed at this place! Attentive staff and 5-star teachers!

Good food (skip the coffee), friendly staff, great environment, this is definitely a place you should hangout.
The classes are great though seem a little expensive for Bali (~$10usd). Also, wish they had some that started later, 6 or 7pm.

Lovely place, fun people, great location - just perfect. Recommend to all beginners and intermediate yoga people.

Ubud Yoga Centre is set in the heart of Ubud and is a great place to escape the bustle of tourist crowds, relax and rejuvenate your mind and body. We are located by the famous Jembatan (Bridge) Nyuh Kuning in Jalan Nyuh Kuning Raya/Singakerta Raya. The modern and clean architecture provides arrays of natural light from the glass blocks and the solar powered panels help light parts of the building. The two-tiered complex consists a mix of a yoga centre, gong centre, kids centre, gift shops, beauty/bodyworks and a retreat café/wine bar.
Best place to Yoga in Bali!

Architecturally splendid. Ample space, well-planned layout and a truly calming place. Also the hot room is HOT, so your Bikram class will be most enjoyable.
Friendly staff and do enjoy coconut water after class.
Highly recommended!

What a great space! My partner and I have been coming 1-2 times a day for the last week and loved it. Friendly staff and teachers that made us feel like part of the family. Small'ish studios mean the classes and guidance personal. The design and build of the building is suburb, you need to visit it to get it, the aspect from the road doesn't do it justice.

A breathtaking space with amazing natural energy and light. Glass walled yoga room elevated at tree top with all round views and comfortable heat. Professional teachers and warm staff make you feel at home and completely relaxed. 17 years of travelling and visiting studios around the globe - this place is an absolute gem of a find. Thank you so much for creating this space. Namaste

Although the place looks rather weird from the outside the yoga room has an amazing view. We went their for a session of "hot yoga" with Moni. By far the best session in ubud out of all we have had. Keep the good work up.

Such a beautiful, spacey and clean (very) yoga studio. Friendly yogis and yoginis. Professionally run by warm management, teachers and staff. It's the place to get lightened, inside and out. Namaste 🙏🏼

Yoga@42 are great studios in Jakarta, so I am looking forward to the Ubud location. They have great teachers and staff that are so kind and always like to chat with us. Based off of the studio in Kemang, they offer refreshing snacks and drinks including fresh coconut, fruit juices, smoothies, oatmeal cookies, raw vegan bars, biscottis and more. They also have good heater for those who enjoy hot bikram yoga. The Ubud centre sounds perfect for solo travelers and groups. I don't know any studio which has a kids centre where you can conveniently and safely have your children taken care of. Also, they have a wine cafe which sounds perfect for a group of friends!
The building itself looks nice as well with the ceiling to floor windows, providing so much natural sunlight inside and keeping the bugs outs. As much as I love nature, I prefer cleanliness.

This building is a work of Popo Danes. He is a local Balinese architect, who created and designed a lot of luxury villas and hotels and known as an international award-winning architect. As an environmentalist, he is committed to integrating eco-friendly characteristics of Bali’s traditional architecture into his projects. A large number of his internationally-recognized projects have been luxurious tourist resorts, upscale boutique hotels and opulent residential houses, yet he has remained committed to environmental conservation, making sure that construction causes minimum damage to the land, plants, trees and other natural features of each property. The long term view of this building, is to let the beautiful surrounding of nature shine through. Because of the layout that can be overpowered , it has to stay minimalist. The vision is to create something that can stand through test of time, using materials that are local and under appreciated (Indonesian made glass block to filter noise, heat and still making the building bright with natural light), a project that powered by solar panel, hence the flat roof, and many other conscious decisions for the building. The architect and owner believe that Ubud is becoming centre of art, including modern art.

This place looks like a jail. Whoever you are owners, shame for building such a unearthing, unnatural, totally out of Bali building style block of cement. I would never feel comfortable doing yoga in a place that has so much disregard for the environment & culture around them. Blerk!
