Facility is top notch. Room is very spacious and the bed is very nice. Food is incredible. However the only problem is the way the hotel handles online taxi and Blue Bird taxi. We observed several guests were offered local taxi (which sometimes don't want to use meter) while they asked for Blue Bird taxi (the hotel said it will take at least 15 minutes for BB taxi which I think does not make sense as there are some around). Our online taxi declined few times worrying about security guard scrutinize their car and ask why they intend to enter the premise. I think for such a high class hotel they should prioritize the best transportation companies instead of discouraging them.

Amazing place to be in Bali.

This hotel is so huge, with stunning views at day & night.
If you have Kids, no need to go anywhere, they have lots of facility from Kids club, beach, pool, resto, spa, etc.

Clean & comfortable room. They have 3 restaurants, all of them serve awesome foods & drinks.

I enjoy every moment here, recommended place!

Incredible architecture, decor and ambience. The place is huge and one could easily get lost and not find the way back your room without assistance. The best swimming pool I've used by far. Great security. Fabulous restaurant. Expensive, but worth every penny.

Huge resort, absolutely stunning one of the best I’ve ever seen. It’s hard to describe the sheer scale of this place but if 30 hectares means anything to you then you have some idea. It’s beautifully appointed and the grounds are truly magnificent. Check out the man made ‘Lake Mulia’, lounge at one of the many pools or enjoy what must be one of the most impressive buffet restaurants in the world!

Love this place. It’s huge and the service is excellent. A good resort to bring your love ones for a pampering getaway. The view is spectacular. The bed is great. 2 complains I have - a lot of mosquitoes so bring your patch and the room is too dark although it is romantic but putting on contact lens in such Low light is definitely a challenge - do have some bright lights in the toilet please.

Beautiful resort on the beach with many amenities including multiple restaurants and multiple swimming pools. Breakfast buffet includes several serving lines, one each for European/American, Chinese, Indonesian, Indian, and Japanese foods. Service is outstanding. You're never very far from someone who can provide for your needs or answer your questions.

This is rated one of the best hotels in Bali for a very good reason. The place is awesome, from the moment you drive through the entrance gate it is striking. From the huge well decorated foyer area the ocean views are great. I have nothing but praise for the place.

I stayed with my family at this property and overall, i say it is a nice hotel. There are definitely many flaws and improvements that need to be made. Staff are very friendly for the most part, and food is okay. The rooms are very new and nice. The manager was very friendly and helpful. My only complaints of the hotel are that it is very big and dark, many of the lights were off thru the property and its vibe is not lively. The pools were nice and the private beach was also very nice. The food at soleil was very good, but the buffer breakfast and dinner was not very pleasing and definitely needs improvement. For example, the eggs Benedict were overdone and hard. you can see from the pictures what i mean from the lights being off and the hotel being very empty.

Rooms are spacious, very cleaned.. breakfast is heaven, lot of variety and so yummy. Staff very helpful and friendly. Have many pools with nice view. Every corner in Mulia is instagramable 😁Recommended hotel for relaxing holiday in Bali.

Simply wow! If you have around $300/night to burn, this is simply a must. Room is great with great bathtub, bed is super awesome, breakfast is to die for, pools are plenty and big. Even the toilet is automatic. Beach is great but has limited space for swimming, especially in low tide, and has lots of fishes and other small sea creatures.

Gorgeous and stunning view.. Excellent service from Desi when having dinner at soleil.
Reccomended for a 5 star hotel.

This resort to big.. Not so many activities in this place.. Far from the central of Bali. We called it "tempat buang jin"

The best hotel I've ever visited, luxurious facilities, beautiful scenery, the hotel is also very spacious, large, and magnificent.

besides that, the hotel also has a nice meeting place with excellent facilities. The scenery is beautiful.
excellent service, the hotel is also very clean, and there is ample parking available.

I highly recommend this hotel for those of you who want to hold wedding events, meetings, conferences, to stay, and vacation

Nice, cozy and expensive, unfortunately if you want to go breakfast don't use tank top (for men, i don't know women also the same or not) they won't allow guest using tank top. But they had prepare a polo shirts to use for tank top users. Unlike other resort and hotel. They will accept this kind of dress code. As for food just okay. Nothing special....

Loved this resort. Went in October so it was very empty but still had great service. Beautiful place to stay, great food, drink and pools! Fitness center really well equipped. Variety of fitness classes offered daily. Italian, Japanese, Chinese and I've cream/dessert restaurants and a fantastic massive breakfast/dinner buffet with something for everyone. Many healthy choices on the buffet and it didn't feel like eating from a trough. Lots of fresh made to order items. The Italian restaurant was great! Attentive pool staff without being annoying and constantly hovering. Overall high quality & you get what you pay for!

PARADISE! What makes this hotel so special is the staff- they not only satisfy every whim but they anticipate your needs. My dad & i are gluten-free and they prepared waffles, pastries, banana bread, etc to our accommodations. Got coffee on the first day, and the sweet deli host remembered how I took my coffee (splash of milk, 1 sugar) for the rest of the week!! ThE COOLEST gym ever (special shoutout to selma and her kick butt complimentary combat class). Almost teared up leaving this breathtaking place. Will miss the friends we made within the extremely kind staff.

Wilson Leoputra (22/06/2017 13:32)
One of the nicest hotel I have ever visited. It has splendid views from the lobby over to the 4 different pools and private beach. The hotel is very clean spacious and the people working there are very polite.

Nice place to stay for holiday! I can really recommend the Royal Suite. A gorgeous room with a nice and special atmosphere. Also the hotel restaurants are great, especially Edogin and Soleil!

Katrina Ranford (01/06/2017 00:09)
We booked in for the buffet dinner at the International Cafe. WOW!! I have never seen or tasted anything quite like it. With chefs at each food station serving delicious Eastern and Western delights, a seafood room, dessert room, chocolate fountain and more, I wish I had two stomachs.

Im so in love of being in thist place. This place is awsome. But the price range is very high.

irzan syuhada (27/01/2017 12:56)
It's one of wonderful hotel in nusa dua bali, but the food is way too much pork. If you consider halal food, then you must really careful. Anyway, the beach is awesome with white sand and of course private.

Livia Supranata (04/01/2017 08:05)
Wonderful place to stay! If you were about to travel there with your family, it's the perfect choice. The view's great, the food even more, the service there-A+.. Great choice for holiday for sure!

Marc Lefkowitz (17/12/2016 12:24)
Nice hotel. But it's huge. Not in a good way. It's far too big. A 5 minute walk to the lobby and restaurants from my room. A 5 minute walk to the beach. At least a 5 minute walk to literally everywhere you want to go. And it was easy to get lost the first few days I was there.

Also - the service was just a bit off for a 5 star hotel. For example, asking if they had an ATM required the staff to go ask someone else. Or the fact that 2 minutes into sitting in a chair at the beach, an employee was trying to "sell" me a discount card for the resort. Or every time I went to the pool, someone came over to ask my name, room number, and nationality. And then they proceed to strike up a conversation. It was fine the first time, but everytime I had to do this.

masuria sudjana (17/12/2016 08:19)
One of the worst architecture/interior designed 5 stars hotel in Bali. The feeling inside is just meh... It feels like a giant boring corporate office with tropical hints forced into it. The space and signage planning was also bad. The only things that make up for the low taste in design are the staffs and food. A beautiful Bali people experience and really great food. Other than that, I would steer away from this ghastly boring place.

Ivan Cristian (26/10/2016 01:40)
an awesome place... with nice views from the top and all the corners of the hotel, private beach, 2 pools + 1 kid pool + 1 infinity pool with sea view... of course come with the best service...
no need to say more, it's just like a heaven in earth, very comfortable, with yes the quite expensive price... but i suggest, you should come to this place, at least once in your life...

Best resort in the world rating is not just a slogan. It really is!!!! Come and experience it yourself. We never get bored to stay in this huge property. Always find activities to do, as well as enjoying being pampered for 24 hours. The spa center is a must visit for a day of great relaxation.

Ferry Gondo (02/09/2016 14:38)
One of the best resort I have stayed in my life. Great view toward the ocean. Spacious and elegant rooms, beautiful buffet breakfast. Luxury stay at its best.

Kelvin (22/08/2016 10:33)
Extravagant hotel, attention to detail is also amazing. This is the only hotel in the world with 6000 USD Toto closets all over the hotel (not just suite rooms). I was many times astounded by the sheer scale and features of this hotel. Will definitely come back.

Ghazi Elkarout (17/08/2016 16:07)
It's a beautiful combination between it's exotic gardens and water pools and punds and modern furniture and touch.
Good for families, couples and a hide out from the outside world. Great Ocean view and food...

Richard Yapeter (29/06/2016 11:15)
The only 5 stars hotel in Bali with no Valet service. We were told to park our own car and take the elevator to Lobby. Fair enough.
Until you find out you cant park near the Elevator. That part of parking is for staffs only. Your two option with similar distance is walk to the elevator or walk back to the lobby.

Fine lets follow the rules and walk to elevator thru the exclusive staffs only area. Once you get to lobby level no one to greet you or tell you where you are. So hopefully you are good with direction. (I am so not a problem there)

Rather then showing the high of the Hospitality industry on the island I believed I showed the lowest service we can get on the Island. Even b&b showed more smile

Upgrade the room , and we still have to wait too long. Check in time supposed to be 3 pm. However until 3.40 still waiting for the room.

This luxury hotel is sizable of epic proportions. The closest thing to describe this place is the Venetian or Bellagio. Like it's sister hotel in Jakarta, this is a very popular place for weddings and conferences, and thus the large property really caters well for these type of events.

I stayed over Easter weekend, so the place was full. In fact, there was a line just to get into the free breakfast buffet. This kind of experience leaves you feeling very much like the cheap buffets in Vegas, only the food is actually quite good here.

I also tried their room service and ordered a burger and oxtail soup. It took about 35 minutes to serve, and the food was delicious (though the soup was a bit salty). However, when I called to clear the dishes, they didn't come, so I just waited until housekeeping cleaned my room.

What I like:
1) Very modern architecture - I love the marble floors, the ornate suites have flat-screen TVs. Everything is nice and new. And BIG.
2) Food - like it's sister hotel in Jakarta, the food is generally quite solid here.
3) Many pools - and they are all very big. There's a lap pool, a lady's pool, a kids pool, an ocean pool, etc.
4) Mulia Kidz - a great spot to leave your kids and enjoy yourself.
5) The beach - it's clean, it's white, and... it's BIG.

What don't I like:
1) It's BIG - this has its drawbacks, like it takes a long time to walk to anywhere. Some facilities, like the cafe, can't actually handle the capacity if the hotel is at full occupancy.
2) It's not personal - this is definitely not a place for your honeymoon or private getaway, but if you like people watching, this is a great place to be.

Bottom line: solid 5-star hotel, and certainly one of the better ones in Nusa Dua, but definitely not the place to be if you want something more personal and quiet. Try coming during low season (or at least not during holidays), that will certainly improve the experience significantly.

Note: don't get this place mixed up with "The Mulia" which is the more exclusive accommodations located next to the Mulia Resort. Guests of The Mulia can use the facilities of the resort, but not vice versa.

The breakfast buffet is too crowded. I stay for 2 night and there were long lines for both days. The server is very slow and too much talking to each other. The food is below average for a resort. The signage to navigate around the hotel is minimum. We Got lost very easily.

Stefanie Callista (07/03/2016 12:15)
Last time I was there, I was with my family celebrating my mum's birthday. We had buffet at the restaurant and it was average. Plainly average so, it's fair to say it was overpriced. The quality of the food's gone down. The drinks are way overpriced so you might have to sneak in a bottled water in your handbag. The servers were friendly but the people who actually dines there are relatively snobbish, so the atmosphere was so-so. I would dine there again if the taste would improve.

Johan Tampubolon (16/01/2016 16:37)
We stayed at the deluxe room for three nights. The room was very spacious. The bathroom was very pleasant. I am satisfied with the facility they provided in the bathroom. The amenities was available on request, but they weren't generous at every restock. The bed was very small. The café wasn't satisfying.
