Great place to escape from your daily routines. Suitable for the extrovert and the introvert. There are cozy cafes on the roof top for those who loves socializing. And calm swimming pool for those who like spending "me time"

Stay at Junior suite room. Big room, clean, fast wifi. Good size pool and the breakfast is good. They have balcony but can't smoke outside at the balcony.

Hotel is situated in nice area of Yogyakarta near some food restaurants. Extreme friendly and helpful staff and excellent breakfast.

Good, stayed here twice. However. ANTS! Lots of ants in the room which possibly caused itchy bites meaning my time in Jogja was not as pleasant as it could be. I also had to use my limited holiday time to see a dermatologist at my expense also. Shame, the room is also a Little tatty and feels like my second stay is a considerable amount worse than my first.

Very nice hotel. Although there is a slight need for maintenance and a better lighting. The price is fair, well located, breakfast is generous, staff is very helpful and respectful which seems to define Yogyakarta with everything you need.

For Prawirotaman touristic area I think this is one of the best hotels. In semi classical style, the bedroom and toilet is spacious. Quiet plenty of choices at breakfast. Big swimming pool and it has parking lot.

Near Malioboro. Quite affordable with family friendly swimming pool (separate pool for under 5yo).
Staff very friendly. No hassle ordering a pair of extra towel.
Good place in overall.

A well located hotel in Prawirotaman area surrounded by some nice restaurants and cafes. The bedroom was quite spacious and comfy. The facilities are complete, such as swimming pool, gym, resto, and parking area. The breakfast was just so so.

Great stuff, great room, awesome and huge breakfast, very clean and big outside pool and pool area.
But be aware of a lot of small steps you can trip on and the mosques nearby.

Staff are very friendly, always willing to help. Rooms are decent; comfortable, clean, although with signs of age. Location of the hotel is great. Lots of restaurants nearby, I felt safe walking around at night. Amenities are okay. The gym is a little under equipped, but that's fine. Pool is clean and beautiful at night. The food is okay. Not fantastic, but it's adequate.

Great mid-range "luxury" hotel in a fun neighbourhood, much fancier that most in this backpacker district. Shortcut with a 3 minute stroll to all the restaurants and bars close by. The bed, room and general facilities are nice and new. Staff are friendly and helpful. If you're going on a 5am morning tour/hike, you can request that they pack a lunchbox for you to take with.
The cons:
My only complaint is that the door and windows facing the street lets in a lot of noise so you can hear people talking in the hallway and cars driving by, but fortunately, because the hotel is relatively small and on a quiet street - that doesn't happen too much.
The hotel spa is definitely overpriced, but from trying 2 other spots in the neighbourhood, at least it seems clean. Not a luxury spa (for the luxury price they charge), but - clean is good. My expectations for spas have been considerably lowered in Jog.
All in:
In terms of class range, don't expect anything beyond a 3.5 star hotel. Perhaps this is considered 4/5 stars in Yog, but that's not on an international scale. Towels are sparse (no spares, or face towels) but all necessary provisions are given (slippers, comb , dental kit etc.). It's still a decent property overall, and the suite room is newly renovated and comfortable.
I'm very happy with our stay and would come back again. Decent value for money and great location.

Good location. Hotel feels quite charming, it's not too big, and reasonably quiet but with some local noise. Very good pool, excellent breakfast. Mixed crowd, local and foreign tourists, all well looked after. Staff are friendly and helpful. Highly recommended, good rates are easy to find.

Great hotel, friendly service and excellent facilities. Good breakfast with lots of options.
Clean and spacious rooms, which are quiet. Pick the north facing rooms as on a clear day you can see all the way out to Mount Merapi.
Close to restaurants and not far from the major tourist sites of Yogya.

Staff were nice, room was clean, breakfast was excellent. My only problem was with motorcycle parking. It seems the parking space was shared with hotel staff. So at the working hour, it was full.

Spacious rooms with big bathrooms. Good breakfast selection. It is located in Prawirotaman II street, but there is a shortcut to Prawirotaman I street (a better and busier street) just across the hotel. Try to get rooms on higher floor so you can get a balcony and sometimes on good weather you can even see the mountains and volcanos around.

Great hotel!! Staff are super friendly. Room is big and nice. 15 minutes from the city center. Tour agencies round the corner. Good food and nightlife just one street away. Awesome location, great hotel, great people, great place. Wallet friendly too.

Room was big and spacious. They have 2 building, too bad we got room in the next building that doesn't have elevator , so we have to walk with stairs from 1st to 3rd floor where our room is located. Breakfast was good and has enough choices.

We spent almost one week at the largest room (suite) there and it was just a waste of money. We should have taken the deluxe room instead.
It was filled with locals all the time and there was a big party at night which turned very loud and tehre was no warning from the hotel. The pool was restricted too.
The staffs were unprofesional, the room service (also cleaning ) was terrible.
The area is wellknown for the backpackers where tourist could find great eating places...

First of all staff is extremely. Food in their restaurant could be better. Also, meals must be served at de same time, not 10 mins apart. We had breakfast included and they prepared a nice package for our tour to borobudur. I was happily surprised that it was fresh made. The omelets were still warm and that was 03:30. The deluxe room is very good like all the other accommodations.

Great hotel in south of Jogja with Mount Merapi's View. But we have to use stairs to reach president suite room at 3rd floor, build a lift!

Prawirotaman Hotel are one of the best hotel in Yogyakarta. You can access Malioboro and Alun-alun only 15 minutes.

Stayed 3-nights with family for holiday, what a hotel, location, service, staffs, cleanliness, pool, were fantastic.
This is a good hotel, with potential to be great hotel, with attention on some areas, for instance, the free wifi service, clear pool are from smoking and improve the quality of the foods.
Some details in rooms need maintenance to keep it at the best condition.
Would recommend this hotel, and be more than happy to return and have fun.

Room was ok with appropriate amenities. Need to order hairdryer since it is not available in every room and the power was only 400watt, not hot enough.
Breakfast has several selections of Indonesian and western foods and also some selection of local foods.
The hotel surrounding was considerably less comforting since it become too dark at night, especially for woman that travel alone.
