I just wanna working why so hard to get visa
I am not bad person, i am not a terorist... am i done something wrong that make me rejected for visa?
For the twice time i failed for visa
I am a poor man, to many money i spend for it, my mom work hard for me to get money for my visa interview
And no guarantee for refund it if i failed

A very well-secured place, with hi-tech security system and friendly guards. I went there to attend an intern interview.

Very well secured place, but the staffs are really friendly. I don't need to feel as if I'm suspected for something up to no good compared to any other high-secured place. Frequently they held educational or cultural events there, which is nice to visit.

I was there to accompany my sister that could not understand english. I read on the web that companion is permitted if the applicant can not speak english. But turn out that it was a false information, my sister has to go inside alone, and the staff was friendly enough according to her until she met the interviewer which not gave her chance to explain her reason for needing a visa. Very arrogant and made her very upset. She needs the visa to accompany me travel since my health is bad and difficult to travel by myself. So It was not a pleasant experience at all, and she refuse to come to embassy again, she said she felt like begging for the mercy of the staff there. It is quite the contradiction, since we were trying to come to USA legally, and I am in fact a legal resident of USA. No reason given for rejecting my sister's visa. Though experience for someone that only want to do something legal.

Friendly and courteous staff from the security personnel to officers. In and out in 1.5 hours for H1B visa interview. Waiting areas can use a little bit more shading from the intense Surabaya sun. The security will ask for KTP or SIM from visitors. This is something not listed on their interview instructions.

The security was unbelievable very strict one. Friendly staff. Make sure you have appointment before you go there or better you call first.

Staff are professional but friendly. (Bathroom equipment is exactly like that in US.. just saying)

If you guys wanna know what real security looks like, come to this place, and beside there nothing you can you do beside applying Visa & Document with USA.

The first time I came here... Cause I attended a seminar that was how to make good essay. It was raining when I came there, then I parked my motorcycle in the crossing street of the consulate building. Everyone got strict checking before we can enter the building. It's really such an honour to enter this place.

I have visited this office for an education consultant (for my master study plan) in the library. The office is cool, big and the staff is friendly. There is a public library you can visit. The library provides many books you can't find in Indonesian bookstores such as American history, American politics, etc.
