Great cafe with wonderful food and perhaps the best coffee machine on the island. Laid back and friendly spot that can serve as a base for Snorkeling their well-documentd house reef. High quality dive operators that will take competent snorkelers along on certain dives.

Excellent experience. I very highly recommend this place. Not only are they a great dive shop (and because they are relatively new their equipment is top shape), but also a great place to stay. If you have the chance, book the bungalow. Such an excellent oasis away from it all. It was booked the first night we arrived so we stayed elsewhere (not so good) but the 5 nights we did have in the bungalow were awesome.
As we were there over New Year's, we were invited to join in their festivities including a communal dinner and dancing. The people there are very warm and welcoming. They share their lives and we felt like part of their family.
Bubble Addict is also the one place on Gapang Beach with a proper coffee machine. Espresso, cappuccino, latte or butter coffee are delicious and quite the welcome change from other establishments. Just wish they had teh tarik and it would be perfect.
If you're looking for something different in terms of diving, ask for Alois who is a diving artist. Blew my mind. Rafael is the macro specialist extraordinaire, while JoJo a masterful night dive guide. Aji is a chill dude and has a very deep knowledge of the local spots, plus can show you how to catch an occasional wave on the local beach.
Definitely worth the trip and I can't wait to come back (already asked Alois to be my mentor for the dive master training).

Very professional dive center, extremely knowledgeable and friendly staff, brand new equipment and awesome bar to chill after a day of diving.

Diving at bubble addict means you got new friends and a wonderful diving experience. We did our open water course here and are totally satisfied. The staff is very professional and take all the time you need to feel comfortable in the water. Once out of the water they are your friends. They just opened the center a few months ago, so everything is brand new.
About the diving spots: they are beautiful! You can find all different conditions around the island. Shallow places with lots of fish and coral till places with strong current and even more fish.
We discovered a new hobby, diving. Lots of thanks to Jordan our instructor, Raphael,
Agi and Aloys. We are bubble addicted.

Owners, guides and instructors have vast expertise when it comes to the sometime tricky local waters. They also make you feel like part of the family in between dive sessions. The breakfast sandwich on fresh baguette is incredible and the 'donut lady' shows up at 4pm FYI.

Perfect french and english speaking diving school on Pulau Weh. The Staff is absolutely lovely and always willing to help. Try out the sandwiches at the bar !!! Ask for Raphael !!!
