A great place with unique architecture. The museum is rarely open. But the view from this place is amazing if the sky is clear. There's a wide grass field there with a gazebo in the edge. You can see the deer eating the grass and chilling there. But the heat was bad during midday. This place usually used for events or weddings.
There's a new finance museum in the front gate. Both museum are free.

I visited the museum for an outdoor wedding. There's mountain view and several deers.

Although titled as Museum and has historical value as its place where Pangeran Diponegoro arrested, this place can also used for other function such as semi outdoor wedding area. The scenery of mount Sumbing and Sindoro can be seen clearly from this place so rises its beautifulness. Because of the reason, the place well known too as the place for photo session (especially pre-wedding photo session)

Museumnya terkesan kurang terawat, pas dateng kirain museumnya gede ternyata cm 1 ruangan aja dengan ukuran sekitar 7x7 m. Tidak ada guide hanya petugas keamanan saja sehingga informasi sejarah minim didapat.

It is the trace room of Prince Diponegoro, located in the left wing of hall of Kedu Residency that was built in 1810 saves the historical inherirance of Prince Diponegoro, who was tricky caught in a meeting by Dutch. Indescribe on one of the chair with is nail's scratch represent his anger. There are also a long flowing robe of 1,57 height 1,35 m of width, that is made of shantung cloth, tahrib book, a wooden couch for praying, 7 small mugs as the places of 7 kinds of Diponegoro's favorite drinks, and so on.
Merupakan kamar petilasan Pangeran Diponegoro, terletak di sayap kiri Pendopo Karesidenan Kedu yang dibangun tahun 1810, menyimpan peninggalan sejarah Pangeran Diponegoro yang ditangkap secara licik dalam suatu perundingan dengan Belanda. Saat ini di museum tersimpan benda-benda bernilai sejarah, antara lain : bekas kemarahan Beliau berupa guratan kuku, jubah berukuran 1,57 m, lebar 1,35 m terbuat dari kain shantung, kitab tahrib, balai-balai tempat semabahyang, 7 buah cangkir tempat 7 macam minuman kegemaran Beliau, dan lain-lain.
