Amazing menu, ambience and service. Highly recommended for special meal while in Samir. The Pose and thin crust pizzas were done extremely well . I have not had such a good Skordalia with Calamari outside Greece. Well done to the chef and the service team.

Wow! Great meal & service was spot on! The wine selection was also very good too! Had Wine from Rioja Spain.

I have dined here with my wife on several occasions and mostly have enjoyed the experience. My favourite dish has always been the Beef Rendang but this time it was different. It used to come in a smooth gravy, full of taste and spice but on this occasion the meat was coated with what appeared to be dessicated coconut and was very dry. Maybe there is a new Chef but I didn't like it. I can say the Salted Cod Fritters and the Prawn and Snapper Spring Rolls are a winner. Other main dishes I have tried have all been well received, cooked perfectly with appropriate spice added where required. One criticism is the smoking section is in the prime seating area of the restaurant and non smokers must dine out front or at the back of the restaurant near the toilets. Upstairs is available but we all know smoke rises and there seems to be an electricity problem because torches are issued to read the menu which is fine but doesn't help once you start to eat and can't see. There is an air-conditioned area upstairs also which is purely non smoking but without a reservation you won't get a table as a walk in this area. This restaurant is not cheap even on Australian standards so for a couple expect to pay at least 1 million rupiah (A$100) for 3 courses with wine. Having said all that I would return and quietly suffer my non preferred seating location in an otherwise great restaurant.

Have eaten here a few times and keep coming back. Never had a bad meal or become sick. Service is brilliant and just adore the lamb kofta. Its a must try when in Sanur. Not your cheap Bali eat but not over priced either. It is outstanding. 5 star

Love the food, the service and the ambiance. The combination of coconut rice and salmon teriyaki is quite unique, but yummy 😁.

Again Sanur seams to only have warm drinks that are supposed to be cold.
On the up side the Espresso shot I can highly recommend.

Loved 3 Monkeys it's a wonderful atmosphere & ambience , fine dining , excellent menu and high quality meals, drinks and service. A great place to celebrate a birthday, wedding anniversary or romantic date. Best pre reserve your table as this is a popular restaurant.

Food:
The spiced cashews were underwhelming. They could have gone a little easier on the spices and the flavourings especially the ginger and sugar.
The bruschetta, zucchini fritters and monkfish were excellent.
The dessert, a chocolate cake with a raspberry coulis was almost excellent. The chocolate cake was excellent but the raspberry coulis was so sour that they might as well have had a lime compote instead.
Drinks:
Medication meant that I had to stick to the non alcoholic drinks. The banana smoothie was great, the "mad for mango" on the other hand was more a "mad for vanilla".
Service:
By far the worst service I have had in Indonesia. When we arrived, in spite having reserved way in advance and the restaurant being almost empty as it was still early, we were directed to the worst table in the restaurant. When we requested for a change the waiter rudely told us that all the tables were reserved. We had to talk to the restaurant manager to get a better table in a half empty restaurant!
Since we changed levels and waiters in the process, I thought that we would get better service bit well...
The welcome drink arrived in the middle of the main course with no apologies provided.
I also think that the waiters have been instructed not to smile and to look down on their customers. The level of arrogance matched that of a snobbish Parisian bistro and seemed out of place in laid back Bali.

Considering that you have to book 3 days in advance, that they charge European prices and the service is terrible, I would give it a miss next time.

A lovely restaurant with fantastic food. We tried the sirloin steaks and they were spectacular! If you want a table for dinner make sure you have a reservation though, as the restaurant is quite popular.

It was a beautiful confluence. The food, beverages and service all excellent. There's some perfect flavour innovations going on here. Subtle hinds of the best Indonesia flavours and great quality produce. The deserts topped off a fine long lunch. Gluten free options were happily made available as well. 5 stars!

Outstanding place to dine. Brilliant options.
Ive been going here for years. Last visit earlier this year i had fresh spring rolls delicious and the best pasta with prawns like a gamberi. It was awesome.
Lovely inside and upstairs. Well worth a visit.

Slow, inattentive service. Good was ok. Western, creative, but not particularly well executed (pumpkin ravioli was barely warm, e.g.).

Came here to celebrate my mother-in-law's birthday while we were on vacation in Bali. Everyone in our group of 7 people loved their meals. We all agreed it was the best restaurant we have been to so far while we have been in Bali. Service was great as well. Thank you for the great experience, Three Monkeys!

I've been here several times, staffs are super friendly and even very helpful in occupying our kids with things to do, including taking them to feed the fish. Food is excellent- especially the fresh spring roll with Tempe and red rice.

Pan seared tenderloin steak is the best steak I have had in Bali. Just melts in your mouth...
The cocktail menu is extensive and classy and the wine list decent. All the starters we had were well made and tasty. Service was good and staff were friendly and attentive. The place was busy on the night we were there but the kitchen is well staffed so this didn't effect the waiting time for food.
All round good vibes, nice ambiance and a place I will return when I feel the need for an awesome steak on the island of the gods.

ate there Sunday lunch 23rd Oct with the family. Ordered the beef burger. Have had food poisoning for 5 days now. I have to give myself some of the blame. The meat patty wasn't fully cooked. It wasn't frozen or cold just pink inside. I thought about sending it back to be cooked further but thought it would be alright. What a mistake. My gut has been in turmoil since Monday morning

This place is over priced for what you get. Our waiter was clueless and absent. We ordered and found out ten minutes later that several things weren't available. Overall the food was disappointing for what we paid. Save your money.

The ambience was excellent, perfect for casual dinner with family and friends. Waiter was polite and attentive, no problem with that. However, i ordered nasi goreng and it was below par, 3 stars at the max. Taste was good but there was way too much chili, cucumber, and garnish that spoils the eating experience. I had to constantly seperate the nasi (rice) with the things i dont really want to eat.

Nice ambience, good food and reasonable prices. Even free music from the cover band next door at Casablanca's! A good place to go for dinner in Sanur.

Fantastic. Nice food, very nice setting, pricier than local restaurants but not expensive. Menu is a nice mix of Western and Balinese/Indonesian!
