Facilities are in need of upgrade. Rooms are old. Switches for lights, etc. do not all work in rooms. No adjustment on A/C temperature. Cleanliness of bathrooms is poor. Roaches were seen in bathroom. Pool area was grungy. No towels provided at pool. Long lines at buffet breakfast.

Food is good and authentic. Try the satay. The peanut sauce is original and its very delicious. Not sure bout the western food though.

One of the best hotels I have ever visited till date. The working staff are way more polite and any of your queries are answered quickly. Every corner of this place is so clean that you will think twice before littering. Take a place to stay near the beach and you will find internal peace. The ambience around is awesome. The breakfast served here is surprisingly testy. If you are in Bali, this is your place to stay !!

It's a very large hotel, with cottages, a garden wing with rooms in two levels and a large 'tower' wing. We stayed in a cottage, and while it was old and a bit worn, it was also clean, quiet and comfortable. It is a great place with kids, there are three pool areas and lots of beach front with lounge chairs. The restaurants are OK, but not as good as others in Sanur, so we were glad we just opted for breakfast rather than full board.

Location is the strongest point of this hotel. It has private beach, golf club, big garden. But the hotel needs major renovation. It is already old. That's why the price is cheap compared with hotels that have similar facilities. But, it's clean, and the staff is helpful.

A great old lady of a hotel. Vintage, spacious rooms, great location. Maintenance could be better... It is a bit run down

My room was at the same lobby as soekarno's room !!! and there was a kind of ceremony in that room when I was there !! So creepy yet exciting. Many Asian stay in the hotel while the Caucasian prefer to stay in the cottages around the hotel.

Lovely lovely stay!!! Every thing is quiet old fashioned which has a certain charm... Old but very clean... Beautiful friendly kind staff at every corner... Great buffet breakfast... Lots of variety.
Really enjoyed every aspect of our stay here... Will be back for sure!!
Thank you Inna Grand Bali Beach...

People absolutely friendly. The hotel tower side it is old and need a big maintaining. We loved the location, if we back to Bali and choose to stay here, we would rather stay at the cottages or garden sides of the hotel. As it is much more quite n relaxing. The tower lots of happening from wedding, graduation and tour group or very noise laud Chinese!

One of the oldest hotels in Bali and, very dated hotel. Interiors are definitely from the 90s (opened in 1966 but renovated in 1993) and hasn't changed, it's like stuck in time. Unfortunately the public toilet near the Agung ballroom isn't very clean. The ballroom looks a bit worn out and the air conditioners aren't cold enough. Renovation would be so much better for this old property. The good thing of this hotel is that it is facing directly to the sea. Only came here working as a senate team for a senior graduation event in the ballroom.

Lovely hotel with beautiful grounds, the staff are amazing. Lovely omelette for breakfast+ fruit and other goodies. The beach is ok but since I've been here the sea hasn't been deep enough to swim in but this is offset by some lovely pools. Great beachside bar with food.
Caia Leithuijser (01/08/2017 02:36)
Ever since I was a child I go to this place to swim and have a relaxing day, and I never left unsatisfied. The pools there are spacious and fun, the service is excellent and the food is good. Also, I highly recommend the spa.

The dining experience was quiet wonderful. The staffs are friendly, I had a pleasant full experience.
Shimomura Wong (16/07/2017 08:49)
Its the tallest hotel in Bali, chalets/rooms are just 50 metres from the beach, even having breakfast at the café gives you a clear view of the sea; if you like jogging+cycling track is just off the hedge of the property & bicycles are available for guests only.
There is a beautiful blue transparent hexagon glass panel pavilion for wedding ceremonies having a height of 2 storeys forward looking the ocean for any couples wanting a splendid evening sunset reception.
Maria MaLie (28/06/2017 13:35)
Good location but the hotel too old. I got room 1210 and the AC not good. The bathroom too so old.
johan coppens (21/05/2017 06:48)
The hotel needs to be renovated. Bathrooms in the garden rooms are already renovated but that's it. Rooms are clean and everything you need is available. Staff is friendly and helpfully.
Muhammad Ichsan (13/05/2017 10:33)
Employees very nice. AC not cold and hot water not hot. Breakfast so tasty. Clear area to watch sunrise
Anamika Verma (21/04/2017 08:53)
Not apt for a five star category. Needs alot of maintenance and renovation as hotel smells of dampness and have unexpected guests (lizards, cock roaches and ants).
The only plus point is the view of the ocean!
Jehan Hadi Prasetya (15/03/2017 11:51)
Very comfortable hotel, resort and spa... have a good location near sea, amazing sunrise, very taste of breakfast , clean n classic room.. they have
Dedy Sugirama (09/03/2017 02:52)
Nice view here.. in the front of the hotel is sanur beach.. white sand.. good choice to see sunrise.. although the building look old.. but the view around the hotel is really great..
Rajawali Robert (19/02/2017 11:31)
It's located at Sanur, it means good to see sunset. The view from the Hotel to the Ocean was fantastic. The Hotel was big enough same with the room which's big. Breakfast just so so. The price for this Star Hotel can be said quite cheap. But the Hotel need a renovation, otherwise looks an old Hotel. Cleanliness especially in the rooms should be improved. Equipment should be rejuvenated.

Nice staff, and the food is fairly good, but can be a bit pricey as they do not include the 21% service charge in the cost. Rooms are nice, and air conditioning and wifi is good everywhere. Some TVs don't work. Pools are fairly clean but some of the room are a bit worn with age, and just needs a bit of a upgrade. I quite liked it but some people we were staying with were a bit troubled, moving to one of the rooms that we wanted was a bit difficult, which was unfortunate. Would come back here, but they do need to update some of the bathrooms, as they do not look particularly clean.
Matt Lewis (18/10/2016 23:38)
It has a massive pool with shade and the place is very quiet, great to go to if you truly want to veg out and relax.
Where it needs improving is what they call accessible bathrooms - they really aren't.
The rooms also look aged and a little run down, though for $25 a night twin share, it ain't a bad place to stay.
Popi Oktapiyana (07/10/2016 11:22)
It is a nice place to stay, it has a building, cottage and second floor building. The second floor building is quite old, I stayed for two night. In my opinion, the room is very big with balcony, vintage furniture, bathroom works great but you will find it is very old and they need to change the bath tub and shower because it is yellowish. It is very nice to see the beach behind it.

Old hotel/resort with nice gardens and beautiful beach for sunrise. Very close to the fastboat terminal which will bring you to Nusa Lembongan Island - the Truly Heaven on Earth

I glass to the spa and surprisingly the price is not as expensive as I tho. The massage is very good and the messager therapist is very polite.
Ryan Iga Septiawan (05/07/2016 05:21)
if you want to go to Nusa Penida or Nusa Lembongan, you can stay here for 1 night
Dede Kamasaka (27/06/2016 13:22)
Must improve the room much more. The place location is really good. Then the room also must have a new inovation like put some art design, and others.
William Bielinski (06/06/2016 21:58)
Built in the 50s and I don't think they have done any updating since then. We had to walk all the way through our room as the only working light switches were on the far side night stand.
Grounds and the pool were very nice, clean and well maintained.
