Spacious, open space, and great place to take your children here. They can play a ball or just running around. And be careful, after the rain the grass so wet. Never sit or your clothes will get wet too. Unfortunately a lot of grass is detached from its place now. Not recommended when holidays. It very crowded in weekend or holidays.

One of new Bandung's tourist destination and place to hang out or just chill by locals.
Best time to visit here is between 4-7 p.m. when the sun isn't too hot.
There's large car and motorcycle parking on the basement with the relocated street food and stalls down there.
Next to the Bandung's grand mosque where you can go to the top of mosque's tower to see the scenery of Bandung City. Tower's operational hours is about 8a.m. to 4 p.m. everyday.

I can see clearly now why all the people love Bandung actually. There are more and more loveable public spaces in every corner of the city. One of the most popular is here. It has scenic greeny artificial grass as the place that people love to play with. I adore those twin towers!

It's good place for spending your time with your family, playing football or just laying on synthetic grass. You can see awesome scenery from top, you just have to pay 7000 rupiah at weekend. The restroom in mosque is good but i don't know there is restroom in field or not.

Great public space and public attraction. Can be very crowded sometimes or every holiday. You have to remove your shoes if you want to sit or walking on the main square. Great if you bring some bag to keep your shoes. You can also enjoy others Bandung side by walking near this area. I appreciate the government for making this place very famous among the people and tourist.

Nice and spacious play area in front of Bandung Grand Mosque. You can sit and play around in the synthetic grass there with your kid and walk around to find something to eat. There is a nice place for family outing. You can buy a ticket to go on the top of the mosque tower and see Bandung from the top. I suggest to come here in the morning or evening to around 20.00 because the air is cool. Do not come to play in the noon. The only downside is hard to find a parking area specially for motorcycle

Actually it is one of the best city square in Indonesia i have ever been so far. It's very lively and touristy. Just keep the place clean and well maintained.

Great place to hangout at Bandung. Just sitting, enjoying and watching the locals and listening to the prayers made good impression for me.
For travellers: there is a Tourist Information Center there where you can have a free map.

you have to take off your shoes. It's better if you bring your own plastic bag to put your shoes because there is no locker or you can buy it around mosque.

Nice place to get off your day routine. At night you can lay your back on the synthetic grass. You need to take off your shoes or slipper. But there is no locker what so ever to put your shoes. Maybe the government can provide paid locker to enjoy the Alun-alun

Very very place who peace here... I have ever twice to come here... First I going trip with my friends at December 2016 and second I going trip with my familys which there are between of My Mother, My Grandma, My Old Sister and with her son who also my Niephew at May 2017... Sometimes I would be back come here with heart happiness

Surprisingly a fun, cheap way to spend time with your friends and family! When it's not the rainy season, a night time picnic is highly recommended. The synthetic grass is comfortable to lay on. Bring blankets! As it may get chillier at night. Kids can play soccer, and the adults can just lay back and relax. Unfortunately, when it gets later at night, some homeless people find it as a shelter. But, I don't think it's too big of a deal, since all the fun is worth it. Don't be surprised if people are still hanging out and playing until midnight! It's a 24hr park.

This day, it's pretty hard to find city center where family can gather, friends can hang out and children can freely play, in a warm peaceful atmosphere. Alun Alun Bandung is one of that rare place. Highly recommendes for your afternoon stroll in Bandung where you get to taste and embrace all walks of lives Bandung has to offer.

A famous yet good place to spending time in evening and night with family and friends. Quite crowded, clean, good place to take photos. There are some street food around, quite cold at night so better to bring your jacket

It is really beautiful place to enjoy. The grand mosque of Bandung located here, but in the afternoon, the place to sit under the trees are quite limited. The shelter of city buses located in the north of Alun-alun and the location in the heart of Bandung makes this place really strategic and accessible.

Pro's :
- Very good place for hanging out with friends or family.
- Very good place for exercise.
- Has great environment for taking pictures.
- Good place for killing time for you who wait for pray time.
- Big parking lots.
- Accessible with car, bike, and public transportation.
- Accessible form any directions.
- Has canteen.
- 24/7 security guards in every corner.
Con's :
- The canteen environment is very uncomfortable, smelly, hot, not hygiene, and expensive.
- The canteen location is underground like parking lot.
- The weather is so-so. (when comes for cold you get cold, when comes for hot you get hot, when comes for rain you get drench, and so on)
Rules :
- Not allowed for lovers, this is mosque's park.
- Not allowed to bring food or drink inside park or mosque, in case there is people who left their trash.
- Not allowed to bring any kinds of pets.
- Not allowed to bring your shoes or sandals inside the park and mosque.

Nice to walk around... Good place to take your young children. Kids can play around. There are some interesting shops around... Just sit and relax... But during the rainy season, carry an umbrella...

This place has become historical since years ago. But after the great renovation that Mr. Ridwan Kamil has done, this place become a very favorite place to hang out and sit with family or friends. This place become so catchy and modern.
Feel bad because the traffic often ruin the view.

On of the most iconic place in Bandung. A must visit if u come to Bandung. Best visit at the daytime and not in rainy season since the grass will be wet.

You'd better comes in night to feel the good wind. If you come at night, it also makes you forget about the crowds. Good place to spend with your family if you just want to be relax

Crowded, hot and you must take off your shoes to enter the park. But this place was offered a lot of things a family would need on their holiday. Not recommend to come on weekends (too much people come)

Nice place to know Bandung and see from aerial 360°. Go to mosque tower escalator and you can see from above, or join Bandungers on Alun2 or Mosque Square to just relax and unwind while playing football, or simply take a nap. Kindly remove your shoes when you're entering the mosque and the square.

My hometown squares are more better, here it's just like a field with synthetic grass, kids playing planes ball or balloon, I find the mosque more interesting than this, if it had more stuff that I can do well

nice place to relax in the middle of (kinda) chaotic Bandung. can get REALLY crowded on weekends/holidays, but you get to see cute toddlers playing around. sometimes you just have to get a break from coffee shop kind of places.

Great place to relaxed. Synthetic grass is maintained by the city, so it's always clean and hygienist. But beware if you go there, lots of pick pocket..

Totally in love with the landscape and was mesmerized on how cozy it is to spend an evening in the park. The view is unexplainably comforting and this place got an amazing vibe that makes you don't want to leave anytime soon. However the basement is a little bit chaotic and unexpectedly dirty. I would recommend to take a stroll around as there's a lot of street food stalls nearby. In my personal opinion this place is suitable for a perfect, low-budget yet down-to-earth first date.

Whatever you think, this is one of interesting places in Bandung. Situated exactly in the city center area, you can go to other cool places such as Bandung Great Mosque, Asia Africa Street, Savoy Homan, etc.

wow and superb, on the central of city bandung, and surrounded by the big old building view. you can make a good shot on this venue. make sure you came on the weekend day, you will see tons of people around this venue. and prepare your good pose and dont forget full charge power your powerbank (must prepare)
