Great little joint on the hill top, near the Twin Lake View point. Sit outdoor and enjoy a nice cup of coffee/tea or snacks, whilst enjoying the beautiful view of the lakes.

The rates are pretty cheap too. Must visit.

Food great great great!! Less tourists than in the other nearby. Cool temperatures. Ladies in the kitchen run a very tight ship: all bright clean and big smiles all around. Personally, I have tried all chefs tables and fancy spots: but this was the best pork I tried in Bali!

Lake Buyan and Lake Tamblingan, separated by a rainforest-covered hill, approximately one kilometers, there is a pool that is connected directly to the lake Buyan through a narrow canal. The community pool is called Telaga Aya. The two lakes are known as the Twin Lakes. This sight is a great overview of the volcanic heart of Bali. Volcanoes have created and shaped this island, creating volcanic cones and lakes, and producing rich soils enabling a lush forest to grow. This lake is one of three twin lakes that formed in a large caldera. He was flanked by two other lakes, namely Lake Tamblingan in the west and Lake Bratan in the east. Lake Buyan (on the left here) is Bali’s second biggest lake, after Lake Batur and Tamblingan lake is the smallest lake on the island.
Lake Buyan and Tamblingan the twin lakes dazzling the visitors due to its natural beauty is still very natural, nuance quiet, and peaceful. Besides serving so beautiful scenery typical of other attractions in Bali, the lake is not contaminated. When visiting Lake Buyan and Tamblingan do hope you will be escorted around the lake by boat, for example, because it is not provided. Residents around quite activism around the lake only by using small boats which they call the “perahu”.
Comfort and serenity of the lake can be felt as guaranteed visitors who come will not be disturbed by the roar of the engine or the car that became the hallmark of big cities. Visitors who come to Lake Buyan and Tamblingan can perform a wide variety of water sports such as kayaking, fishing, etc. The area around the lake is still green and fresh as miscellaneous grove tress, which is perfect for those who enjoys outdoor recreation activities. Likewise, the appeal of the two lakes is more complete with the arrival of apes which usually ply the highway department Denpasar-Singaraja are increasingly growing in number.
Your minds might wonder, there is a lake that is a virgin? Virgin attraction here is assumed by the natural beauty still felt very natural, not much touched by modernity, or the hands of ignorant humans. Is there still such a tourist attraction? The answer is Lake Buyan and Tamblingan. Lake Buyan and Tamblingan also often referred to as “twin lakes” because of the close proximity to one another.
Tourist facilities around the lake
Various kinds of facilities are available at the Lake Buyan and Tamblingan park on the shores of the lake, accommodation, and rental boats for visitors who want to get around the whole area along the lake. So no surprise to the many advantages that make a lot of foreign and local tourists who took time to visit Lake Buyan and Tamblingan.
Lane to Buyan and Tamblingan
Twin lakes Buyan is located in District Sukasada, a region located approximately 21 km south of the city of Singaraja, located on the road pinggr Denpasar-Singaraja. Lake Buyan is situated at an altitude of 1000 m above sea level so the temperature of the air is so cool, especially if the night. While Tamblingan lake can be reached by going through the junction in the direction of the village of Munduk, Village Gobleg, and translucent in Lovina. Of Munduk, Tamblingan lake can be reached through the governmental around. The two location is very strategic because the lake is flanked by three other famous sights, the Puran Ulun Danu in Bedugul, Waterfall Git-Git, and Lovina Beach. This stop over the Twin Lakes is often part a tour in the northern part of Bali, frequently including the Gitgit Waterfalls, the Banjar Hot Spring pools and the Brahma Arama Buddhist Monastery.
Coming from the southern developed areas of Sanur, Denpasar or Kuta, here we realize what Bali really is about. Grand Nature, like about the whole Indonesian Archipelago. It was a choice of the authorities to dedicate the south of the island to cities and large scale tourism, and leave the rest of the island less urbanized. It will take you around 2 hours by car to reach this twin lake location from Kuta area.

A cool, relaxing spot to take a break after a long ride/drive from Denpasar or North Bali. Have a seat, get a coffee and see the spectacular twin lake from there.
