Quiet place, away from hustle bustle, situated near monkey forest, but property is bit old and needs more maintenance, overall value for money

Very exotic locale. Perfect location. Close to countless restaurants, right next to the Monkey Forest. Nothing but smiles and kind faces. Very helpful. Breaks your heart to leave. Food is great, as are the prices. Learn a few Balinese customs and greetings, it goes a long way. They will make you feel like family.

We stayed here when kids still little. Nice pool and breakfast. Also they happy to provide cot. Next to Monkey Forest and plenty of spa around the area.

Helpful staff willing to price match the price we found on a popular hotel booking site. Delux room is a fantastic value and feels luxurious. Beautiful grounds! Two pools. Tasty food! Super close to the Sacred Monkey Forest.

Great place, amazing and kind staff, close to Ubud Center (just turn right before monkey forrest and follow fence)
Cheap and taisty coctails - especially Mohito
In villa sonia its really silent and peacefull compares to other places in Ubud.

Apartment suite is just the best
No mosquitos!!! - they use fogging
Room cleand everyday
Also staff brings every night anti mosquito things

A small but cozy villa complex, tucked away from the busy town of Ubud. The rooms were roomy and comfortable, clean and very affordable for what you get.
While not quite in the centre of the town, the wall to town is enjoyable and the hotel also can organise drop offs to the town centre.
While breakfast is nothing to shout about, everything else you get here more than makes up for it.
Would visit again.

Stayed in the suite. Lovely breakfast, beautiful views and service exemplary. Kitchenette could've been more useful though - it's mostly there for show, so bring your own utensils or eat out. Don't wander too close to the nearby monkey forest at night as the monkeys can be very aggressive.

We stayed in Villa Sonia 4 nights.
The traffic jams in Ubud makes it difficult to get to Villa Sonia as it is located behind few busy junctions, at once it took us 2 hours to get to there from the town center.
The room in general is clean but the shower needed a proper brush to clean up the dirt and green algae and the net around the bed were grayish, could do with a wash really.
Few light bulbs were not working properly in the bathroom, and there was a leak as the floor of the wall was always wet.
During our stay, my husband had fevers and was really sick. I went to the front desk to ask whether there was a pharmacy close by.
They offered to drive us to and fro but wanted 50,000 rupid for the trip.
As we needed to go there, we paid for it but realized it was quite close to the villa, the trip took only 20 minutes back and forth including getting the medicines
I wasn't quite sure if that was normal but felt they were unsympathetic.

Really 10 minutes walking from Monkey Forest road, this villa is amazing at every level, beautiful spa, relaxing swimming pool, nice and comphortable rooms. Also don't miss the cooking lesson with Chef Suki, very special!

Very quiet and peaceful place with two pools. We stayed 5 nights here. Breakfast buffet is very good, with a wonderful atmosphere in the morning sun. Service is good too. All staff are friendly and kind. Location is a bit far from central Ubud but the hotel offers shuttle service 4 times a day. Otherwise you can walk through monkey forest. Enjoy your stay!
