The hotel is fantastic. The location is beautiful, set into the jungle. The staff are amazing and so friendly. They could not do enough for my family and they all knew my daughter's name. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone who wants to relax in a beautiful setting with friendly staff and great food.

We stayed for 3 nights at The Lokha Ubud and I give it a 4.5/5 star rating. Our stay was very pleasant. The grounds and swimming pool area of this Hotel is beautiful. The views from our room was great. The entire atmosphere around this hotel is a 5/5. Stunning swimming pool in a great location. The atmosphere at the restaurant is good. I found the food a bit on the oily side, but it's probably how they make it in Bali. The room was clean. The towels in the rooms were old, and we had a shower in a bath. It was difficult to get in and out of the bath (shower), and water of the shower made a mess in the bathroom. Reception and room service was very fast. Besides the shower, I will recommend this Hotel. You will have a very pleasant stay in a lovely location. The rice fields on the outside of the Hotel is lovely, and you can have a nice 30 - 45 min walk to Ubud town through a very scenic area. The area around the Hotel is so lovely you don't need to go to other places. You don't need to hire a driver for your first day as you can just discover the area around the hotel on foot.

I would definitely recommend this hotel!! The staff is so nice! They treat you like royalty. If you are looking for peace and quiet, this is the place to be! And definitely do the bicycle tour, you will not regret it!

If there’s any thing lower than 1 star, I’d put it without hesitation. The rooms are okay. Location not special. The air conditioner and other facilities in the room/villa you just hope it’d be working probably, and the service is the worst. The staff are friendly, yet, they lack big time on experience. Not organized or professional. You’ve plenty of options else where with cheaper and much better experience.

The Location is great, the rooms are old and not clean. The food in the restaurant is not very good. The staff is very polite and helpful.

The Lokha was a really beautiful hotel and the location was stunning, the pool area could do with some repair though especially the deck. Also service by the pool was quite poor as staff were just standing around the restaurant area when they could have been offering drinks/clearing up to keep the area tidy. All in all we enjoyed our experience at the Lokha and if the above improvements were done this would be a 5* rating.

Hi. My wife and I stayed here for 16 nights and used as base to travel around Bali. I can honestly say the only word I would use is FANTASTIC!!!!. The place is so wonderfully clean and tidy and the stafg go well above and beyond themselves. A beautiful 20 minute walk across the ridge into Ubud and a regular shuttle bus also from hotel/resort. Food amazing and a great clean pool annd gym. The spa is out of this world and over massages and all sorts of packages to make your stay even more pleasant. We will go back again for sure. The nicest place i have ever stayed and as for the staff. WELL DONE YOU SHOULD BE PROUD.
Thank you Lokha so very much.
See you soon 🤗🤗🤗🇦🇨🇦🇨🇦🇨🇦🇨

A bit disappointed, place is out of town in the jungle, the location is great, staff are a disappointment, they are certainly not on the ball, somebtry really hard to help but others have a bit of a blank look. A large amount of general maintenance is needed, lights out, flickering lights and cleaning. I would rate this property as 3.5*.
This hotel could be soon much more.

Amazing place. Hotel is beautiful. It is surrounded by forest. All green. The breakfast is so good. There is an amazing spa a 100 mtr from the hotel. It is a 20 min walk to Ubud town but it is a beautiful walk.

Just awesome! Beautiful place, location next to the river... awesome infinity pool, delicious breakfast and incredible staff, really nice and kind!

Decent hotell, with average staff and a long way from Ubud(25 min with scooter) . Would only recommend if you find it very cheap.

Good place . Recommended for honeymooners.
Pool villa rooms are excellent & helpfully staff.
little outside the city. Shuttle service available.

From the Lokha to central Ubud, you walk on the famous ridge walk along beautiful valleys. The Villas have private pools with an amazing view on the jungle. Its so relaxing we nearly just stayed there chilling. Our first Villa was close to the restaurant and the pool and was noisy. We asked to change and they moved us straight away to a perfect one. Staff is very nice, WiFi is correct.

We stayed in the Pool Villa and the staff was great. This hotel which is located up in the hills above Ubud and has great views of a valley and a secret escape before relaxing on one of the island's beaches! Free Shuttle Bus Service
Panini I (25/07/2017 00:41)
Beautiful surrounding and ambience, good value and not too expensive, easy to access by walking on the ridge walk but takes longer by car. The hotel offers free shuttle into Ubud city but be sure to book your seat at least the day before to be guaranteed a spot. Rooms are clean and spacious, loved the view. You can access the river from the hotels property, don't forget to take a dip in it! Staff is extremely service minded and kind. Highly recommended.

The Lokha Ubud is a nice resort with a very friendly staff and beautiful views.
We stayed in one of the pool villas which is great if you'd like a little extra privacy. The pool in the villas are not heated so the water temperature was quite chilly. We got a little bit of rain during our stay and had some minor water intrusion into the villa. The water was not a big deal except it seemed to drive a lot of large ants into the villa away from the rainy outdoors. The rains in the shower didn't drain well and led to water ceiling into the rest of the shower. It's not the first hotel that I've experienced this in but I'm always a little irritated when I step into a cold, wet, puddle in the middle of the night.
The food at the restaurant was average. There wasn't much to complain about but nothing that jumps out either. The breakfast buffet has enough options to feed the whole family. The coffee was terribly watered down and had hardly any flavor; this was extra disappointing given how close you are to coffee growing regions.
The gym, if you can call it that, was terrible. It was basically an empty room. There were no cardio machines whatsoever. The only equipment available was a barbell, two dumbbells, and an angled bench. I would have rather had them say that there was no gym than to walk in and be disappointed.
Overall our stay was pleasant though there were enough minor annoyances that I would probably look elsewhere if staying in Ubud again.

Great place! Good buffet and a great view
Sheifali Javadekar (18/05/2017 03:31)
Place is excellent but they are unable to maintain it to the level of a 5 star property because of constant rains maybe
Hrishika Choudhary (17/05/2017 09:41)
AMBIANCE WAS PERFECT WITH ALL THE FACILITIES IN THE RESORT ITSELF. ONLY THAT IT IS QUITE FAR FROM LOCAL GROCERY SHOP AND OTHER MARKET PLACE THOUGH THE HOTEL ADMINISTRATION PROVIDE SHUTTLE SERVICES TO THE MARKET OR AIRPORT BUT THIS SHUTTLE HAS TIMINGS SLOT. BREAKFAST BUFFET WAS SIMPLY AWESOME WITH THE PERFECT VIEW OF NATURE & VALLEY. AS SOON AS YOU LEAVE THE LOKHA UBUD CAMPUS. U WILL FIND UR SELF IN THE MIDDLE OF REFRESHING VIEW OF GREEN RICE FIELD TERRACES. KARSA SPA (5 STAR RATING) IS VERY NEAR TO THIS RESORT.
Thanabut Raktabutr (18/04/2017 06:29)
2 nights here. Hotel is charm and quite place for retreat from busy world. View in the jungle. Hotel staff is friendly. By the way, it's too far from Ubud city.

We had 3 nights at The Lokha Ubud. The villa was really relaxing with the small private pool and day bed outside, it was a great place to hangout. The restaurant was really good for lunches and dinners. However breakfast was enjoyable but because it was buffet style it was only warm. Had a giant cappuccino every morning and they were delicious. Overall we enjoyed our stay and would possibly come back with friends and hire the bigger villa.

Me and my were here for honeymoon and I would totally recommend this hotel if someone is staying in Ubud area.
This is a hidden jewel surrounded by a serene natural forestation.
Everything about the hotel was perfect and we were impressed by surprise services we got for being on honeymoon.
Also, there are so many places to visit around the hotel.
Natalie Liu Mengqi (21/12/2016 13:41)
The built environment is amazing - clean rooms (although the bathroom smells odd), nice small pool infinity set amongst the treetops by the river. But the service is rather inflexible and impersonal, especially with the shuttle and paid transport to Ubud town ($80k - $100k). My experience at the restaurant however ruined my impression of this hotel. There was no table for me despite making a reservation at the main desk. It was a 30 minutes wait for the BBQ buffet and eventually they lost my plate of food and gave me a plate of randomly put together cold and burnt food. Very disappointing for the price! Expect no more than a regular 4 star hotel set in a lovely but isolated environment.

Beautiful place. Very peaceful. It's the kind of place that you take your time, enjoy your tea, read a book. Clean. Friendly helpful staff.
Jonas Bødker (18/11/2016 11:38)
Nice place but very expensive, triple the price! 100$ lunch?! Three small appetizers and four small drinks.
The first room smelled like urin, great right?! The second room wasn't properly cleaned and extremely noisy. You can hear everything through the walls! Quality compared to price - wouldn't recommend!!

Great staff. Clean room and bathroom. Nice surroundings. Tasty food. Good pool and cocktails. Spa is also awesome.

A truly romantic experience. Spent one night here and it's a bliss. Friendly staffs, great foods, and spectacular view of natural river and campuhan hill. Definitely will come back soon.

Beautiful, the views are to die for.If you're looking for peace and tranquillity this is it and the staff are so helpful
Nataša Krstić (14/08/2016 23:52)
Rather a four star hotel with quiet position and solid service. Nice small pool overlooking the green scenery. However, very basic breakfast, unpleasant smell in rooms (maybe against insects?), suits have connected rooms where you can literally hear your neignbour going to toilet. Spa is triple price vs Ubud town and food so-so. Wouldn't stay again.

The Lokha Ubud is a fantastic resort to spend some time in Ubud. We stayed here for ~ 5 days and it was quite peaceful. The staff are wonderful and the location is amazing. We had the ridges of the hills looking outside our windows.
After an incident where we lost our mobile phone in the city, the resort staff has been very helpful in collecting this device from an individual and then keeping it safe till we had our friends collected it.
We would love to return back to this resort sometime soon. Thanks for the hospitality .
