Slow service. Customers seated after us were served first.

Good place to have some food while you enjoy the beauty of the rice fields. Prices are slightly high and a 15% tax adds on to it. But the food was well prepared.

Be ready to wait for your order if you are not white, people who came after us got their food while we didn't even get a menu, so far, the worst place to eat in bali..

For a great half day trip in Bali head up towards Ubud and visit the Ruce Terraces. After some trekking and photos you don't need to rush off...stop for lunch at the Rice Terraces Cafe or Terras Padi and enjoy local Balinesian dishes while you taken in the sight of the rice fields and relax in a beautiful spot.

Great food. The view is awesome and fortunately i come here when it is raining so the temperature is really chilled. At first you may think the food is overpriced but i think is worth it because the food is great! I order fried duck with sambal matah and fried prawn. Here i also attach the menu of this restaurant

Great place to just go and forget about daily chores and just sit down for hours until it is dark. Fried noodles and banana fritters are recommended, as well as Bali coffee.

The view from this restaurant is great. Probably the most we enjoy when we had our lunch here. The food is good but way overpriced. 60k for satay with rice and 85k for fried fish with rice?
The place is far from the center of Ubud and it was pretty brutal to get a spot to park your car. The parking man will only appear once when you need to park the car and ask the money from you, but he will be nowhere to be seen.
It is near the local shopping area.

Very friendly staff, the food taste good but not amazing, although the bathrooms you have to pay but the lady wasn't there so lol :) , great view of the rice fields and is not that crowded.

Went to use the restroom here and when I came out, a lady demanded that I pay for the usage. This is fine to a certain extent. But what made me angry was she originally said 3000 rupiah but when I told her that I need to go get money from my wife, she quickly changed it to 5000. When I came back with the money, I told her that the restroom is expensive and she has the nerve to say "expensive for you".

Great view. More expensive because of that but worth the experience. Great soto ayam for 50k. The milkshakes are also great.

Decent place to grab a bite if you're around the area. Not the best option but the scenery makes up for it.

Excellent view first of all! Set down from the road and looks straight out onto the rice terrace. Bit pricey when the 15% tax and service charges are added though. We had the Nasi and Mie Goreng, which were very tasty and were big portions so the price didn't seem terrible after taking this into account - IDR 60k each with chicken. Overall, lovely little cafe/restaurant, good service and experience. Price is the only fall.

Good restaurant with great view ...magnificent rice terrace with local Balinese meals
Antoine Martin (01/09/2016 09:04)
Good food, great view but à bit overpriced (60k for chicken satay when it is around 30k)

Nice place & good culinair experience

View is nice, especially during sunny day. However, if you're looking for a good and fairly priced food, don't look for it here. It's obvious that as rice terraces became popular tourist destination, prices will hike up. But it would be fair deliver on quality. Chicken was dry, rice was tasteless. You would surely get a better pleasure for your tastebuds eating in any warung nearby for third of cost.
Price:
Ayam goreng - 85,000 Rp (normal price below 30k)
Lemongrass water - 30,000 Rp

Beautiful views. Lots of shopping nearby. Service is a bit slow.

Asked for fruit juice without ice. Received a small overpriced fruit juice blended with water.
Michael Chabon (01/11/2015 02:15)
Simple and good local cuisine with an incomparable view from its shady verandas of undulating terraced rice paddies.
Josh Jones (18/08/2015 11:32)
Food is good, prices are slightly higher than you'd expect.
The main selling point is the view while you eat which goes someway to justifying the prices.
