This place is great. I have stayed there twice. One time for two weeks and another for one month. Great location, quiet area, rent a scooter and you are close to everything.
The rooms I rented were large, clean, great views. Restaurants and markets walking distance. The pool is beautiful.
I recommend this place to my friends.
Great owner, very helpful.
Airport shuttle can be arranged also.

We stayed in Teblin House in Penestanan for almost 2 months in December and January 2017/18. The landlord was very friendly and attentive and gave us the opportunity to rent a motorbike for the amount of time we stayed. We had apartment #4 - a spacious flat on first floor with an open kitchen connected to the balcony facing the pool. Bathroom and Kitchen are sort of connected to each other via the ceiling which was never a problem for us. The bedroom (2 beds which sleep 3 pax) is spacious and filled with light thanks to the sliding glass doors. The apartments are periodically cleaned 1 or 2 times per week and the bed linen and towels are changed every week as well. Sudi will get in touch with you to make sure they come to clean whenever convenient for you. You are given a complimentary gallon of water when you move in which you can stack up for a reasonable price whenever you want to - just text Sudi. He will be more than happy to assist with any query. Also his family, living in the Teblin residence, is very nice and his children are just so adorable. Dewi was so kind to introduce us to Indonesian cuisine throughout our stay and we were invited to visit one of the temple ceremonies. The temple of the region is just a 1 minute walk from the house. We felt at home and can totally recommend it. It is a quiet place outside Ubud centre surrounded by amazing restaurants and Yoga places (if you are into that). When we come back to Bali (Ubud) we will make sure to stay again. :-)

Living at Teblin House has made my stay in Ubud wonderful. The kindness and helpful owners provide the warmth of living within a family compound safe and the freedom to enjoy the property. There are a number of apartments with bedroom, bath, kitchen and large open lanai. The pool and yard area is lovely and often swim with no one else in pool area, like a private back yard. WiFi works good with a disclaimer this is Bali so there are occasional interruptions. In Ubud, though walking distance to downtown, about 5 min on scooter, it has been good to visit downtown and to leave downtown to return to the Village life that provide locals selling fresh fruit and veggie, or minutes walk to Kopi Dewa or Cafe Vesta. Come and enjoy the peace that Bali offers.

Wir haben in der wohnung, mit schlafzimmer, küche, bad und tollem großen und überdachten balkon gewohnt. Mit den rollern war das zentrum von ubud in ca 5 min erreicht. Der gastgeber ist unglaublich freundlich und hilft sehr gerne. Zum frühstück gibt es leckere obstteller. Außerdem gibt es im garten einen sehr schön angelegten pool und vom balkon aus hatten wir eine tolle aussicht über die reisfelder. Sehr zu empfehlen.
