Buon hotel direttamente sulla spiaggia . Camere stile bungalow con aria condizionata che però potrebbe funzionare meglio (durante il giorno sono invivibili per il caldo). Staff gentile. Colazione a scelta tra 3 menu. Cibo in generale buono e a prezzi giusti.

it doesnt get better than this for a surfing stay. breakfast is kick ass and the view of the break when you eat meals is just awesome.

On sunday 25th we got robbed by the cleaning staff of our cash money. They where pretty sneaky about it. We had cash in sealed envelope and left for breakfast and they cleaned out the envelope and re-sealed it. I would like to add the older staff in the dinning area are grumpy and not very interested in being happy. We stayed in the over priced River House. Actually pretty nice places and views. Just getting robbed by the staff is not a nice feeling.

Early February, it was almost empty. Good for me, probably not good for business :)
It's a lovely simple place. I really enjoyed it. Will like to visit again.

Great view from restaurant, good selection of food. Friendly staff and good service as always from the Baliness. Not super fast service, but hey you are here to relax and enjoy 😊

Situated where the mouth of the river meets the ocean on a sparkling black sand beach, the accommodation is set back slightly amongst some beautifully maintained gardens with running water features.
The rooms are constructed out of reclaimed boat wood which gives them a nice warmth and you can hear the sound of the waves from bed - so relaxing!
The restaurant has an extensive menu with lots of vegetarian options (though less gluten free) to choose from, and the staff are friendly and work hard to accommodate special requests.
Overall, this is a great place for surfing (if you're into larger waves), yoga, or just relaxing!

Nice location, but both hotel and restaurant is very overpriced and the food is absolutely taste less!

Was a good hotel. The staff is not specially friendly but it's ok. The spot is amazing, very well located, the beach is amazing. Also the breakfast is great.
The transport service provided by the hotel is super pricy, if you need a lift, ask somewhere else ;)

Great view, great food, we just stopped in for lunch, we were allowed to use the pool, and they have the cleanest toilets on the whole island!!! (Out of my fairly limited experience) loads of trips and things to do for guests, and free WiFi too. Great place.

We have been coming here to eat over our stay in balian and on several occasions, meals have been forgotten. I'm still waiting for a meal as I write this review and my girlfriend finished her meal about 10 minutes ago. Poor service for such an expensive place. As you can see from the picture....no food and I'm so hungry.....

Beautiful place! Fantastic food. Saddened to see the plastic consumption, particularly since it's a yoga place. Could have done without four small plastic water bottles and single packets of tea and coffee in the rooms.

Hotel might be allright we didn't stayed there. We went there to have a break from all the delicious indonesian food which we ate the last weeks. If you are looking for good food do NOT go there. We tried their western stuff (yeah stuff i wouldnt say food) and the Burger was just horrible. Frozen patty on a soft and muddy roll with fries that give u a felling of cooked potato in your mouth... Than we thought "ok we are in indonesia, maybe they just don't know how to make American stuff". We tried the classic Nasi Goreng, was ok (i tried a lot of nasi gorengs in the past weeks) but not for that amount. To give you an example, the normal price for nasi goreng in bali is between 15k and 30k, on their menu it's listed for 40k which is way overpriced, but that is not the end of the story. If you going to the register to pay for your food you get an extra surprise ;) 15% tax and service fee on top...DON'T EAT HERE!

The staff are amazing. The location, right on the beach with the sound of the waves and views of sunset. Clean pool with ok deck chairs (little worse for wear and could be changed) Juice drinks are outstanding as is the yellow curry and the mexican bean dip. All of the other food I have eaten there has been cold and tasteless. Which is unfortunate. And they do not have amy options for pure Vegan other than the curry which they consider vegetarian. Even the bathrooms are immaculate. If they could upgrade their food and come into the culture of true vegan/vegetarian options and not charge so much for their food, this place would be perfect for Yoga retreats and holiday stays!

Food is ok, place is great. Its never enjoyable when you pay the bill and have an extra 22.5% in fees and taxes added on the menu price. A disrespect for customers.

If you're into surf, this is the place to be. Relaxed and laid back resort, right on the not so well known Balian beach. Amazing sunsets. Good food. Chill vibe.

Great Location right on the surf beach. Not stayed here so can't comment on the rooms but the restaurant food is decent and the service friendly.

Amazing location if you're looking for something away from the city. A surfer's paradise with great swells, and great for yoga groups with large covered area for class overlooking the ocean. Rooms are bungalow-style, but have AC, hot running water, and are really beautiful. Restaurant was great with tons of options to choose from. Staff is incredibly kind, respectful, and helpful. The only con I have is that it's a good hour or two from any city area, but if you're looking for a place to get away and relax, this is it.

This place have a rustic kinda style decoration. One of the recommended to stay and eat at Balian Beach. The also have a yoga class, free if you're staying here.

Fantastic little place down by the river mouth. Friendly, ever helpful staff, range of different rooms, from 4 bed, 2 bath, 3 story, yoga retreats, to romantic king rooms for the loved up couple. Great cafe/restaurant (breakfast included) and awesome outlook over the surf. No air conditioning - so leave your preciousness at home if that is what you are after. Daily yoga classes go for 2 hours. Mozzie nets and fans are all the luxury you need after paddling the waves all day.
