Located in the heart of Bali island jungle Petang, Badung regency, this waterfall is stunningly beautiful and powerful. Be careful when you step on the wet river stones because it might be slippery, and the water flows a bit rough. Prepare your energy for the steep stairs up and down.

ATTENTION:
The climb to the bottom of this waterfall is steep and long, be prepared for a long hike back up!

This must be one of my all time favourite waterfalls! We went here after it has been raining a couple nights in a row and it was incredible! Again make sure you get here relatively early and you can have the place to yourself!

It was so great to visit this waterfall! Really liked it! You can almost touch it, getting close to it! Power of falling water is just so impressive!

An amazing adventure! Bring good shoes and clothes you don’t mind getting soaked as it will be impossible to avoid the heavy mist. Well worth the trek down (and back up) an infinite stairwell. The kind and friendly local vendors will sell you a fresh young chilled coconut to replenish and rehydrate.

Now this is a really great place to visit ! From my point of view, one of the best in Bali ! It's a short walking distance from the parking. PS: take your slip as you will want to take a nice "shower" under the waterfall 🙈

Nice waterfall, lots of steps to reach it so not for everybody. Actually this is a benefit as the place is not much crowded. There is also another smaller waterfall on the way to the big one. Nice jungle around.

The waterfall itself is quite small one. At the time we visited it, we were not allowed to swim underneath the fall because there were too much water after rainy season. More interesting spot was even smaller waterfall, which was situated on the left of stairs which lead down to main waterfall. I recommend to check that place If you visit the main waterfall.

Good walk down, was a horrible walk back up as the path and steps were uneven. Waterfall was ok. Lots of rain before I visited had eroded the area a little bit and the water wasnt as clear as it can be.

After descending what felt like a million steps through damp and lush forest we found the waterfall we came to see. Deafening sound of the falling water ads to the magnificence of the sight. Well worth the cardio it took to get back to our parked car. Make sure you have drinking water with you and you can even buy jackfruit and banana chips if sugar level gets to low 😉

Quite tough to reach and despite even some of the locals not having an idea, the maps are accurate. The 40 min Hike is very tiring but once you manage to finally reach the waterfalls, everything else seems quite worth the efforts. It is magnificent to say the least.

I really enjoyed my visit. Its quite impressive and during rain season spectacular. Do bring water and wear proper shoes. Youll need both. Be fit and consider visiting without small kids. Youll end up carrying them and its quite a bit.

Very strong beautiful waterfall. Trek down around 200 stairs but very safe. Water feels very good to swim in.

If you have time to visit this waterful in Ubud. It is worth it. There are actually two water falls here. One smaller next to the larger waterfall. I think the smaller one is very more scenic. 😜

Beautiful waterfall. Definitely worth the 498 steps down and then back up! If travelling from Ubud, rent a bike for the day and follow Google maps, it's really easy and a nice drive. Entry was 10K each and parking was 2K.

Great, great, great! Awesome to swim under such a marvel of nature. Completely worth the arduous walk down and up the nearly 500 steps into the valley.
Mackenzie Eveland (19/09/2017 23:37)
This was the highlight of our trip to Ubud. This is a must see waterfall. Definitely wear tennis shoes or hiking shoes as you have to hike down 500 very steep steps that can be slippery. The water is clean and refreshing at the bottom of the falls and nice to get in and walk around. It was incredible standing beneath this waterfall.

High, strong pressure, strong wind, not that crowded and lots of tall stairs to go down to get here, if you dont mind these :)
Wayan Sueta (17/08/2017 05:20)
On of the most powerful waterfall on the island. There are more than 500 steps down but the scenery is fabulous. Entrance ticket is less than a dollar. It is not touristy or commercial.

Beautiful waterfall but the water is cold😉
Daniel Göstenmeier (24/06/2017 02:04)
Beautiful, fairly large waterfall. Hope you don't mind climbing lots of steps though :-)
Petit Steve (08/06/2017 02:37)
Great Waterfall. Not too crowded. But be prepared for the endless stairs to the Waterfall.

I know this place very well, the journey to this waterfall fully nature. The waterfall is so awesome.
Salim Abdelhamid (04/03/2017 09:23)
One of the many waterfalls that is very untouristic and great if you wanna be just a few people. When I went there with a bunch of friends we were literally the only people there. That's what I call the real waterfall experience!
Sandro Armanda (05/02/2017 14:11)
Not too touristic and one of the best waterfalls I've ever visited in Bali. The last time I visited the place, there were less than 10 people around.
Màrius Z'LO (08/01/2017 08:17)
Impressive waterfall. 10.000 rupiah per entry but is so nice and amazing. You can swim in the little lake or enjoy the waterfall and feel its power. A lot of stairs... But everyone can do it!
Christoffer Engström (02/01/2017 15:31)
It's was a powerful and nice waterfall when we where here in January! If the water had been cleaner and swim friendly, it would have been even nicer.
Irman Wisnu (18/12/2016 02:27)
It's like a secret place. Not many tourists around. It's clean and quite. And the journey to this place is also beautiful, I passed many nice villages along the way (from Bedugul). I will come back.
