Best cooking class!!!, nothing was too much trouble. Beautiful setting and well equipted clean professional working area. Clear instructions resulting in an abundant spread of true balinese banquet, all prepared by us. Give it a High Recommendation.

We discovered this activity listed at the local supermarket. After checking a few reviews we booked a half day.
We are glad we did. Pickup was right on time and the plan for the day was well outlined. An informative market visit and great information about local customs and so tips for things to avoid as a traveller.
Once we made it to the house we were pleasantly surprised at hot large, well organised and spectacular the scenery was.
The cooking class was great, everything we could have expected and of course we then got to eat everything.

Would highly recommend the day.

All and everything was amazing!
From pick up on we learned, asked, discussed about Bali and everything concerning the people, culture, food...
The market visit was to the point, we got explained everything, tested food and fruits and bought everything for the cooking class.
The cooking school is located at a paradise location, everything is new, nice and really functional. Welcomed with a great fruit drink on the terrace with overviewing the rice fields, you can't ask for better.
Erlinda and her staff were perfect organized, friendly, funny and they really know what they are doing.
We started with learning about spices and other ingrediances used in the Bali kitchen, followed by cooking 9(!) different dished (and this was only the half day). After we had a lot fun in the kitchen and learning a lot (I am an experient cook, but had a view eye opener!), it was time to have lunch.
Everything was just tasty and looked perfectly, too. I just couldn't stop eat.
You will get a receipt book, too.
I recommand it to everybody from cooking beginner to chef, to food lovers...
Thank you for this nice day!

Our experience was truly amazing from the moment Erlinda picked us up, we have been to Bali 5 times and I could not get my husband to do a cooking school even though we are both passionate about our cooking, he finally agreed and we have finally done it with the best cooking school in Bali, our breakfast was sweet but also delicious (eat small) Erlinda and her two girls staff were do accomodating and nothing was a problem . Then the views for the brekky, lunch, 2nd lunch and desert was second to none, the awesome market visit was with so much knowledge we could come back to "old real Bali" with the knowledge we have learnt . The views and panorama from the dining table was superb, the peace and quiet was magical with not a scooter bike in sound. Absolutely royal treatment and the best experience ever, one of my favourite days in Bali after 5 visits . I want to take this opportunity to Thankyou Erlinda and staff, you have opened my eyes I to the cooking world of Bali in which I can make back home, and whenever I feel (Bali Blues) and need a mie goreng I now know exactly what to do. I cannot Thankyou enough, great value for money

A fantastic day in the purpose built cooking school set in Balinese rice paddies. Excellent teaching with clear instruction. The day also included a visit to a local market where different fruit and vegetables were explained. A tour of the organic garden at the school was amazing with fresh fruit, herbs and vegetables used for the class. We would highly recommend this to anyone visiting Bali. The staff made the experience really fun and worthwhile. Oh - and the satay chicken 😊😊

We loved the personal service and visiting the market to learn about and then cook with Balinese ingredients. The set up was amazing and we were hands on all the way. 2 people to each station. Max of 4 pairs Tried things I never thought I would. Great to get hints on how to be flexible with the menu to include Aussie ingredients. Sat down to our own feast- warning - don't have brekky. Heaps of food. Could choose chilli level too. I don't even have pepper on my meals and was able to eat everything. Warm and welcoming staff with a sense of humour who were open to sharing their knowledge of their homeland.

This was the best cooking class I've ever been to and it included a trip to the traditional market. Erlinda was an amazing host who answered all our questions professionally. Great location, highly recommended.

We booked the cooking school via our travel agency. The driver picked us up early in the morning at our hotel and we drove to a little traditional market. There we met the owner and instructor of the cooking class. She explained us the fruits, vegetables and all other stuff on the market. After that we wen to the house, the last 200m were a little adventure, but driving in bali is always an adventure ;-)
At the house we got a balinese breakfast with sweets, an drinks. It was on the upper floor with a fantastic view over eine gardens. Then we saw the kitchen for the first time, 6 cooking places in western style, very clean and air conditioned. Before we started cooking we had a small herb lesson and made a short walk through the garden and saw fruits, vegetables and herbs growing.
We got a recipe book with the 17 meals we are going to cook and some more. The cooking was great, vegetable was pre cut, we just hat to grind the herbs and mix the ingredients under the great instructions of the teacher. The meals were delicious! All meat was bought in a supermarket and placed in the refrigator after each step.
After this great day the driver brought us to our hotels.
It was a fantastic experience, the owner/instructor and her helper made us feel welcome und a little like family. We learned a lot about the balinese kitchen and will try to cook the meals at home for our friends!
