" When I went to Kedungu Beach about 4 years ago, it was the most beautiful black sand beach I have ever seen. The beach is so clean, wide, long and the wave is so big. There is a tempel just a step from the beach, a waterfall that directly fall down on to the beach. When I was there, only two foreigners who read a book under the cliff and do surfing, a local who train his dog, a local who pray at the tempel and I. It was one of an amazing exeperience in my life that I could find this beach years before as crowd as now. "

" We, my wife and I, have been just at kedungu beach yesterday. And we have to say that the beach is really a one of nicest ones we have been to, so far. The beach is clean, not to crowded and easy to reach. The way to get there is a bit of an adventure, but its worth going there...100%! "

" Nice beach. Entrance fee is - 2 000 IDR. Good parking for car and bikes. Beautiful view, better than near pig stone beach. Many locals street food points at the territory (very tasty by the way). Also many locals people with them families. "

" A lot of trash und wild dogs, eating the trash. There is a small river going into the sea and since it comes from the village I am not sure how pure the water is. You cannot easily cross the river so you cannot just walk along the beach (at least to the right side). However, there are a lot of waves and its not crowded. There is a beautiful temple directly at the sea. There are huts/baracks with people selling food, but they are in a very poor condition with a lot of trash around them. The sand is very dark and coarse and the water is not that transparent turqouise blue which everyone wants but very dark. "
