Very nice place, food for breakfast I love it!!...the staffs very friendly , swimming pool also good , clean and comfortable for the room , I love stay here .

It's not in town and walking to town is not recommended with kids. The rooms are large and spacious. The service is good and the staff are quick to respond to all issues.

Superb stay. Right from booking, to check in to check out, everything was perfect. The staff is so friendly and kind, the owners are amazing people. Just felt like home away from home. Service is outstanding. We had a verandah room overlooking the pool. It was quiet and the perfect place to relax. The location is good, food is good and this kind of service is rare these days. 5 star service for not that kind of money. Very affordable. Whenever I come to Ubud next, i know i can't stay anywhere else.

Needs a little TLC but its still very nice otherwise! Everything is relaxed, nice and comfortable. I was pleased with my stay overall

What can I say about my stay at Gajah Biru? It was everything I could have dreamed of and more! Perfect location, perfect accommodation, beyond perfect staff. I HIGHLY recommend this property for anyone wanting to stay in Ubud. I stayed for 4 nights with my husband for our honeymoon/1st year wedding anniversary. We booked the whole of the Jasmine Villa with a private pool all to ourselves, it was outstanding. We were made to feel at home from the moment we arrived. There wasn't a single staff member that didn't go out of their way to make us feel welcomed and looked after. We had already started looking at flights for next year before we had even left. The only bad thing? That we actually had to leave. This made me extremely emotional, yes I had a little cry. So for anyone thinking about booking a stay here, DO NOT hesitate, it's even better than the pictures, believe it or not! Thank you Gajah Biru, until next year. Love Carla & Wayne. UK.

This place quiet and away from the main road so you can't hear any cars passing by. The staff is really nice too. Making sure that I feel at home, comfortable and easy for my stay here. They helped book my other activities as well so I didn't have any problem during my stay here. Definitely will come back again! :)

ウブド王宮から歩いて15分。下って上って暑い1キロ。入り口が非常にわかりにくい！しかし、施設は素晴らしい。日本からGoogleのブッキングコムで予約していった。プール、クーラー、ミネラルウォーター多数、ドライヤー、日本型コンセントなどなど。アーリーチェックインも、早朝出発も対応してくれた。日本語ができるスタッフもいた。

I was the one who’d booked the Gajah Biru hotel in Ubud ; I’d spoken to Surinder and Mandy and told the family what a great place I’d found; I’d looked at street view on Google Earth but the others hadn’t. When the driver dropped us off the family was unusually quiet. Why? because there was a buzz of people and scooters and cars, dogs roaming about, dust and rubbish bins, little local stores, people sitting around and my family were all secretly wonder where the heck I’d taken them to. We got directions to the hotel, walked down a path and turned right to face the beautiful green entrance doors. And this is when the magic began …
As soon as you walk through those doors you go into a different world; it’s quiet and calm and peaceful, and you really feel you are living the Bali experience. Everyone is so friendly, helpful, kind and nothing is too much trouble. They do everything to make sure your stay is what you want it to be without intruding on your personal space. That is the secret - they adapt to each guest.
The BIG rooms are your own little corner of paradise, each one different with its own character. I know because we were there with friends so I ended up seeing 8 of them. Two rooms per villa, one up one down, and I love the outside sitting areas that each one has – you may have a fish pond or a colonial balcony, each with table and chairs and a sofa.
The pools and the bales are great too. There are restaurants and shops next to the hotel and you can easily walk to the market and center of town. The hotel gives great advise re restaurants. There is a spa onsite for massage, pedicure, reflexology and much more.
For the home away from home hotel I’m not going to tell you anymore except to say that there are surprises for you to discover once you’re there.
We will definitely be back to stay, one because Ubud is such a lovely place and two because Surinder, Sumi, Shivani, Deep, Mandy and all the staff are such wonderful and kind people. Thank you for everything you did for us. You made our holiday special, magic and unforgettable.
