Went here recently with best friend on a mini break, the coffee had amazing reviews so we decided to try for ourselves! Definitely a western style cup of coffee at a western price. I think it’s good knowing that when you go. They were out of Bonsoy and due to their commitment to high quality and consistency they chose to offer only their homemade almond milk as the alternative rather than replacing with a lower quality soy. I was happy with the explanation and grateful to have even been given a reason for being able to have what I had ordered! I enjoyed the almond latte as a take away at our bill and it hit the spot!

amazing coffee!! Expat serve coffee, tea, and some snacks. I love their coffee a lot. I always order flat white (and filter coffee as well if I need caffein boost).I ride from Marlboro, Denpasar to Petitenget only for a cup of flat white. It's worth it!
p.s: they also have superfriendly baristas! 😍

Decent medium roast coffee. It would be great if they can extend the business hour as it closed at 5pm and wifi was not working when we went.

Minimalist design. Cosy environment
Feel so relax having a cuppa over here
Coffee is great ! Balance and well brewed
Matcha latte is good but matcha taste can be stronger
Hot Chocolate also good
Friendly staff and barista
Overall it’s an excellent place for a cuppa !

Highly recommended. Expat Roasters is a specialty coffee manufacturer driven by a passion to produce a one-of-a-kind, unpretentious brew, from the ground up. Awesome service by the crew here. Nyadek was super friendly and skillful in pouring latte art. All around a great experience.

Quality comes at a premium, but Expat roasts hands down my favorite coffee beans on the island. The latte drinks here are consistently very good, well balanced.

food is ah-ma-zing! Totally love the chilli omelet, spiciness level is not at burn your mouth but it has enough kick without being too overwhelming. Hubby ordered breakfast burger that looks amazing too, didn't get a bite because he didn't want to share (*roll eyes*). Coffee is just so-so though, and I don't recommend the chai latte. The juices and smoothies look good though, something to try on our next visit. Be there early or you'll have to wait for tables!

Best coffee in Seminal, probably Bali. Great to see such a high quality enterprise... And lovely chatting with the staff and the 'boys' (compared to me of course). Coffee art by Yanti was a treat also!

My husband and I both had lattes, no extra frills or fluff, and they were perfect. Very smooth, not bitter, perfect strength, creamy and delicious! The only complaint was it was too small. We ordered more. 😊

Let's get serious here, if you've be moaning about not finding the perfect espresso you're used too from home then this is your place and more.
The care and consideration they put into their coffee is pulled into the cup. The geekyness of weighing the beans into the grinder to grind direct to the porterfilter, to then tamp with a pressure limiting tamp, followed by a weighed and timed pull results is a coffee that's well worth the over the Bali average coffee price. Plus a process that you're likely not want to pay for at home!!
Loved this place, shame we only found on our penultimate day. Well worth dropping by if you enjoy a good 'real' coffee.

Would be great if the hours advertised were correct. fB page, website and Google all show 7am. Needless to say extremely annoyed after walking the 20mins from our hotel in search of good coffee. Huge hanks to the ever reliable Grocer and Grind! Sue
