Amazing place in a beautiful isolated location. If the surf is working it's an unbelievable wave, however, if it's not working the travel to other waves can be a long scooter ride away. Paul was extremely helpful in planning our stay and even arranging our transport from Lombok Airport, and very accommodating considering that we arrived in the off season during his holiday. The room was pleasant and spacious, but the shower was a bit dodgy. No internet was available and power only on at times, but a cheap sim card for data can be bought a couple km away in town. Food was average, but great eats could be found from the street vendors in town for those that search. The staff was amazingly friendly and super helpful and I'd love to visit again.

Great place, humble owner, the food also nice. Too bad I felt a bit boring since there's no Wi-Fi and TV. Because no signal here, overall I like it. Will be back again.

Amazing place, the staff and owners are great!
The beach, the wave and all the place in general is incredible, you have everything you need right in the hotel. Good food every day.
Just relax and surf!
Thanks for the stay, cheers!

Great hotel in an amazing spot. The staff were lovely and accommodating and Paul was a fantastic host- he was a huge help in getting us there and away. We had a great time here, no waves out the front but plenty of waves to be had less than a ten min ride away, and it's close to lots of great local food in Maluk. Would recommend the hotel to anyone heading to beautiful West Sumbawa.

"You can check out any time you like, but you can't never leave". That was exactly what we felt we walked in this magnificent place called Supersuck. At first we joked about it, but after four times extending our stay it became a reality: we found our own Hotel California. The place is owned by Paul and his wife, not the bullshitter kind of type: straight and honest, the way we appreciate it. His wife is almost a comic figure, funny, sweet and brutally honest. They make quite a couple those two.
Funny fact is that my family and I are not really the surfers type, all the while this is surfers paradise. But not to be mistaken, we still had pleeeeenty things to do: running, climbing, beautiful snorkeling (with turtles, nice sharks, fish, meters and meters of coral, etc.), playing frisbee with the staff, exploring beaches, body boarding, peddling. And we got some extra awesomeness from Angus, the guy who lives in the top (building their brilliant website). He thought us surfing, bodyboarding, riding the motor, gave us advice, shot awesome photos, and made great company. If you are reading this, thanks Angus!
About the rooms, they are exactly how you would expect it, simple, sandy, but perfect. You do not need more then a bathroom, bed, and chair facing the beach for reading a book and watch how the sun sets over the beach everyday, while an occasional cow just passes looking for water. It is an insanely beautiful scenery with dogs, cows, beach, mountains, green and coral. Wow. There is no wifi, no people just staring at their screens. It is about enjoying life and nature in its purest form of rough Indonesia, with no bullshit. The people working here are real, kind, in for playing frisbee, helping with everything and just enjoying their job. Thanks everyone!
