Raden Syamsudin SH hospital formerly the Catholic hospital named Santa Lidwina. This hospital has been around since the Dutch colonial era.
Sukabumi is one of the areas suitable for tea plantation because it's located on a mountain slope with a big adjoining mountain Salak in Bogor regency. No wonder the Dutch chose it as the location of a tea plantation and the rest is cool and comfortable.
It should be noted that this hospital has nothing to do with the Dutch colonialism in Indonesia, but solely related to social and humanitarian missions anywhere in the area Dutch East Indies.
Then in the reform era after Suharto resigned as president of Indonesia, the country started a new scene of one of them called regional autonomy was introduced in 2000 and in its application further until now, santa Lidwina Catholic hospital donated to the government and later named general hospital Raden Syamsudin SH.
Compared with the service earlier when it was named the hospital santa Lidwina, services now with a new name general hospital Raden Syamsudin SH, then of course the service should have been more to emulate his predecessor, let alone the government has spent a lot of money to improve the infrastructure of the hospital including human resources, I hope the Mayor of Sukabumi, Sukabumi District Heads, business and other stakeholders hospital in Sukabumi region can be more synergy with each other.
