I would say everything is in moderation at this airport. The size, decoration, facilities, amount of flights, service, is just so so. It is not representative enough for an International standard. However, few years ago this place got the cleanest airport award in Indonesia, and i agree with that. Recently, free stroller and wheelchair are provided, and airport helper are still available. Some famous cafe such as starbucks, dunkin donuts, carls Jr., and other local dish are available in the lobby, but for the international area, there are not many options. Hopefully Surabaya airport will improve more in the near future.

Much better than Terminal 1, but it is too small and too crowded. Drop off and pick up area can be very crowded, making it hard to find a spot for your car.
Terminal 2 is intended for international arrivals and departures. It also serves domestic flight by Garuda Indonesia and Air Asia.

The crowd control at the drop off area is rather bad and need more seats there. But inside, its much better, its neat, clean and easy to navigate.

It's modern and quite pleasant till you pass the check control area until the gates then you will be greeted with empty shops and restaurants with no goods to show. The impression I've got is that the airport don't want to accept defeat of their greedy prices but rather close down shops and consequently take off jobs. Bad bad management!!!

Bandaranya kurang besar, kalau ada musim haji atau kalau Ada jemaah umroh bandara sesak, perpindahan dari T1 ke terminal T2, akses jalannya susah. Terlalu sering pesawat delay.

Toilet laki tidak ada yang untuk anak-anak sehingga menyulitkan karena terlalu tinggi
