Good hotel. Surrounding area is a bit quiet, though, which is to be expected given the location. Still, good value for the price. Rooms are decent sized, but could use some more modern and improved facilities (looks a little tired). Breakfast is decent. Service is rather slow - no waiters were available to take my dinner order, and when I tried room service - no one picked up my call either.

A very representative hotel near the industry area of Cilegon City. It is also located next to Krakatau Steel residential cluster, krakatau junction shoppung mall, and soccer stadium.
It has many facility like driving range, restaurant, and meeting hall
The restaurant has two floors and bars. It also has both indoor and outdoor area. They serve good food and has traditional menus of Banten province such as sate bebek cibeber (the skewed grilled duck with peanut sauce and sweet soysauce).
You can carry your events out in this venue. It's a multi function area, you can make a wedding event, birthday, corporate gathering, business meeting and even a staycation

I've been here three times with my family and friend to stay overnight. I had good feeling and energy back there, they have golf cars, you can use it for looking around. The people and the food were good. Maybe the best hotel in cilegon at that time. Beside that, i went here for swimming and the resto.

I like to stay here, good hotel. The room is clean and the food is quite better compare to other hotel with the same star.

I went to the lounge for a beer and they only had a selection of 2-3. Nonetheless it was cold. They had football on the TV which was fun. But I wish there were more people on a Saturday night. Wait staff were friendly and nice.

Royale Krakatau is in a nice lush green setting, there are many choices of rooms in size and layout and the swimming pool is in a real beautiful area.
But unfortunately maintenance and upkeep is not a strength of the hotel, so many aspects of the hotel is in need of repair and the overall appearance is unfortunately not very good.
I was on the fourth floor in the tower and the windows were not clean, there was a problem with the drain causing a smell of sewage in the room, the safe was not unlocked (most likely left locked by the last guest, but not checked by the staff as they readied the room for the next guest) and the door lock only worked after inserting the card several times.
The breakfast restaurant has a good selection of food and you can choose to sit inside in AC or on the balcony looking over the garden.
But the staff is slow at clearing the tables after eating guests are leaving, so on my second morning, I basically cleared a part of the table myself, but for the remaining time I was having my breakfast with a pretty dirty table in front of me... I admit that I could of course have gotten my behind off the chair; but I didn't - I did try to just get eye contact with the staff, but they seem to busy to bother.
Also; never book directly from hotel (on their webpage it says "Best Rates Guaranteed") - I got an offer directly and then searched Agoda - the result was a saving of a little over 50%!

Went to swim. Charging for like about usd 3.5 per entry for outsiders. Toilet was very dirty and old. The pool area not well maintained. Will never return to use their facility. Big big disappointment.

Good Standard for this region. Friendly and good service. The rooms could be a bit more cleaner compared to German standards.

Good environtment, food Ok, great service n friendly, i love the overall cleanliness. But for room cleanliness need to be improve. Dusty on the furniture espc tableware. I definitely will come back again.
