On the skeptical vibe, it is overrated and pricey. On the positive vibe, it's nice addition to hip up and coming martabak. I guess they only specialising in sweet martabak, notably cheese, chocolate, and its derivatives. The dough is somewhat less fluffy than others while the toppings is overly sweet (depends on your choice).
The place itself is for takeaway only, not recommended for dining in. Also, now it's joined by Sang Pisang. So officially the name is Sang Pisang x Markobar

In my opinion, i think it's just not worth it, if i compare between the price and its taste. Even there is a lot of toppings, but i think all of it tastes almost the same. The interior is also far from what i expected and also the place is not very big, so if we consider to bring a lot of people, it's better to take it home. Overall, i think Markobar is just standard.

Just a simple pancake with various topping, nothing special.

famous martabak owned by my long lost childhood friend. nice pizza-like appearance. sadly the toppings are overwhelmed by the crust. first chews are okay. but the next ones you get less and less taste until completely missing sweetness from the toppings.

You call it martabak, because of the martabak itself and the toppings. It is not all about the topping. The martabak itself, taste are so so, not special at all, very thin, and size is very small and thin. Toppings, yes there are a lot of toppings, but some of the toppings doesn't taste that great. The OREO becomes soggy not crunchy anymore, same with the kitkat. Price wise, it is expensive compare to the size and the quaity. Sorry, but I will never buy it again. There are other martabak, with REAL martabak quality.. Again it is not all about the toppings, the martabak component is half of the cakes, so it has to be good, unfortunately the taste is so so.
