Great building and services. I don't get it when people are complaining about security system. Security system is made to protect Australian and local staff and also embassy guests. Please do search the internet before going to the embassy arranging your visa/passport and make sure you have an appointment first. Hope this helps. :)

Do not come without appointment and do not come with your own vehicle as there is no decent partking spot around.
Many people have negative feelings coming to this place so kindly toughen up your mind as the staff seems to be a bit negative thinking

If only you can come without appointment and have a decent parking spot. You can have my 5 stars rating. This embassy building must have been built with ww3 in mind. Yes they build like a fortress I can guarantee you. DON'T COME WITHOUT MAKING APPOINTMENT AND MY ADVISE TAKE A PUBLIC TRANSPORT WHATEVER IT IS.

New location after bomb-blasted. Security personnels are arrogant.
These security people are Indonesian, but they behave like Australians, ready before Indonesian invasion.

I went there to find out about getting visa for my partner
Even as a australian citizen i was not allowed to speak to anyone only some security at front of building who not let me inside to chat to someone
But so many local indonesian locals allowed in funny how it works
Even as a auatralian citizen and passport holder im told i cant enter my own embassy
Ashame im not in bali at least i can enter and speak to humans
Disgusting not happy
Wake up malcolm not good

Have tried to use the consular services the last few months and would have to say they are a disgrace. when an Australian passport holder wants to visit the embassy to drop documents or pickup documents to be told you have to make appointment and have to wait two to three days it is pathetic. Need to look at who your customers are and what service standards are, whenever you finally get there there is no one around, suggesting that they have nothing to do all day. i have had occasions to use other countries embassies, and Australians should be rightly embarrassed by the service standards, as most are able to handle a lot large numbers of inquiries, and don't have such luxury grounds and offices or the need to make special requests to visit the special workers located inside.
