Oh em gee. While in Kuching for two and a half days, I told myself I'd try as much local Sarawak cuisine as possible. But when I saw pictures of their noodles, I couldn't resist. Life Cafe serves up a perfect bowl of noodles in a laid-back setting. The texture of the noodles and the flavor are spectacular. I ended up eating both lunch and dinner there, and this will be my first stop the next time I'm in Kuching!

Waiting for my ordered food almost 30 minutes.
Will rate 5 star if they can make it faster for my next visit.

Wow.. impecable service and the noodles were incredible!! Homemade and delicious! This place is a bit pricey compared to its neighbours but you were payo g for the hard work and labour that goes into the food.. worth it!

My first visit. I like the soup though i think the expected taste of the herbs is not quite there. The long beans with Life special sauce is excellent. It would be more pleasant n helpful if diners are automatically given small plates/saucers to cut n eat from especially when we are eating rice from a bowl. Generally, a good clean n pleasant ambiance. I dont mind coming back.

Wife always visiting the restaurant... But the other branch... According to her, the place allowed her to have good food and allowed her to have a self and calm time... Finally visited the restaurant. Staff, although have a trainee tag, serving the customers well. Attentive, smile, and polite... 🙂
Food, is halal. Serve a slight heavier taste compared to other local restaurants... Maybe more of a western Malaysia or shichuan taste... Great lamb curry, great signature spicy noodle.... The dumpling may need some improvement.. Rice is good...

Tasty food and good vegetarian options! The veggie dumplings and noodles with mushrooms are really good. On the bad side is that a lot of things seem to be finished and even though we came back another day, they had not fillied up the stock. This wouldn’t bother me if it wasn’t the most basic things such as toast and noodles. Although a good lunch and they deserve a good rating.

Good food. A bit pricey but worth it. Can customise the spiciness for selected items.

Beautiful environment to eat. Love the table that has a resting bed as part of it. It is a traditional Chinese food restaurant with no western alternatives so be ready to try new things if you are not used to it.

my sentiments of life cafe may have been biased by high school nostalgia, but i must say after all these years, life cafe has still managed to keep up its standards. the noodles are still chewy, the soups are still scrumptious, the teas are still invigorating. the service is adequate, but it was wonderful that they allowed us to sit the whole afternoon. worth visiting again!
