This is the starting point of many influential religious leader in Kuching. Since 1836 this has been a favourite stop for tired travellers particularly of indian muslim origin.
It has women section as well, but limited facilities. All around there will be children and adult memorising Al Quran, such a beautiful and harmonious environment. Soon this mosque will be replaced with a huge floating mosque by the river at waterfront kuching area.

Hidden in an alley, it is one of the oldest mosque in Sarawak. There are two access into this mosque, the main entrance is located at Jalan Gambier, while the second one is at the Indian Street.

A historical site which traces its roots to the mid-nineteenth century, when it was originally built to serve the local indian-muslim community. Well worth a visit to complete your India Street tour.
