Beautiful place presenting true nature. This is special for those who want photography with natural background, have many track covering plants and tree. The all track covered with bamboo wood. There is a small food court but doesn't matter if you are looking for nature not the food. However some traditional food and pure water is available here.
The most perfect time to visit the place is early in the morning, mostly people came here this time. Parking is ok for motorcycle as well as car.

This is one of favorite tourist places in Surabaya, the place is near Middle East Ring Road. You probably need umbrella or hat or sunglasses because it was very sunny out there. Don't forget to use sunscreen for your face and hands.
You don't need to buy admission tickets because you can entry the mangrove area for free. It was only charged for parking area but i don't know how much it was because i went there by taxi.
The walking track to explore mangrove area was less than 1km. There was information boards about animals those live in mangrove area. At the end of the walking track, you'll find canteen to get any meals and beverages. Don't forget to try mangrove syrup drinks in counter 5. It was sweet and interesting.

If you are looking for a day trip to escape the city, the mangroves are a nice option. You can take a walk on a boardwalk type walkway above the mangroves for 5,000 IDR per person (less than 50 cents US). Pay attention to the area where the mangroves meet the water...the crabs are stealthy, but there are a ton of them. There are no railings on the walkway, so we careful if you bring little ones. The walkways are in the shade. Note- when you arrive in the parking lot, follow the sign for "jogging trail" to get to this part. The free part near the parking lot has little shade and, in general, is not as pretty.
Another option if you are feeling adventurous is to take a boat ride (25,000 IDR adults, 15,000 IDR children) to one of the large bali style huts located near the open sea. The
Wonorejo is known as a part of conservation area in Pamurbaya Surabaya. It was characterized with mangrove forest and endemic birds like creek jawa and bubut jawa. Also many animals live in this area like long-tail monkey, python, big lizard etc. Unfortunately, the environment degradation threatened this area. Because of urban development such as housing development by developers in that area, time by time will penetrate and convert the conservation land to housing. the government and people should pay attention these issues. Actually, The mangrove ecotourism is located at east surabaya that is easy to find it in map. this place offer various activities attractiveness like walking around the mangrove forest, down the river by boat, take picture the good landscape, amazing animals, scenery and naturally views and atmosphere.

Joyful enough to look around the nature. It has a jogging track that have beautiful view each side. It also has ship rental to explore the mangrove forest. A lot of food to choose for dine in with this good vibe

Great domestic tour destination, very refreshing with views of green forests, vast sea, and blue skies. Good place to go with kids, with friends, or to ponder about life by yourself. However, there was too many garbage. Also, safety measures are not in place for people who went on boat trip; none of us are given life vest, although there were posters that said we should have wear it on the trip.

This is WRONG spot. The RIGHT spot for ecotourism mangrove wonorejo is on jalan wonorejo timur. Type 'mangrove information center (mic) wonorejo surabaya on google map.

Great place to go with the family with very much affordable price. Good to spend time with family here and recommended to bring for food and snacks from home which could be enjoyed after the boat ride to the bamboo gazebo.

Came here exactly at noon and felt really hot and humid, besides not pretty good lighting for photographs. Recommend to visit a little earlier or later in the afternoon when it's also good for jogging track, a friend said.

You can catch beautiful sunrise or sunset from the pier. You can stroll down the jogging path for free until the gazebo area, but I recommend the boat to travel up to the seafront. Bring some food and drinks and pick up your trash

Fun adventure! Free entry unless you want to continue by boat through mangroove creek ended at the beach with some gazebos, you can stay there till the last boat at 4pm. Bring some food and drink then enjoy the sea ambience. Don't forget to clean up your trash.
Boat ride only 25k and 15k for kids.

This site provide easy access to a real mangrove forest and river. Sadly both the road there and the mangrove itself is littered with bottles and plastic refuse. Let us hope the Indonesian authorities can bring this under control, because the site is very well worth a visit.

Refreshing place with lengthy tracks, birds, and calming water.
The boat ride is also worth the price (25k).
A bit ironic that it is loitered with trash though. I hope a solution could be found to prevent and decrease trash.
