Great high-end kos/low budget hotel. I stayed here for a month and was thrilled. The staff are kind and attentive. When I got a bad cold, the girl at the very front desk went to buy me medicine! The location isn't far from the center of Surabaya, and it's close to several trendy restaurants and bars, but still in a quiet location. There is free WiFi and cable TV and public kitchen facilities. Plus, the bed was one of the most comfortable I've slept on in Indonesia.

Very clean, quiet, secluded guesthouse. Cheap.
Most rooms have en-suite toilets. Very clean indeed.
Local breakfast is provided free. Coffee & tea is on the house and unlimited! Of course you can prepare your noodles anytime.
A hot water machine is in the pantry. A large fridge - just in case you need to put your drinks.
The wifi is fast. You can download at the speed of 10 Mbs.
I enjoyed non-stuttering videos using my tab.
Carrefour is about 1km away.
The zoo (Kebun Binatang Surabaya) is about 2.5km away. Komodo, Hippos, Orang Utan ........ Come at around 11am and see how Komodoes eat the guts of buffaloes .... very dinasaur-like.
There is a bird market & flower market about 1km southwest.
A beautiful Flora Garden & very huge eateries just before the bird market.
However the only setback is that most taxi drivers are not aware of its location. Once you reach the main Jalan Ngagel Jaya Selatan, start asking people your way ...

They made a mistake with my breakfast giving me non vegetarian food even if I had requested vegetarian. But he place is nice and people really friendly. Also value for money is great. so must be 5

+Tempat yg Nyaman & Bersih, Tinggal di Ikiru Seperti Tinggal di Rumah Sendiri, Fasilitas Sudah Cukup Lengkap, Lingkungan Cukup Aman dan Tenang, Pemilik dan Receptionis yang Ramah
