Good airport with lots of connectivity. Maintained very neat and clean. You will get plenty of lounge options here and filled with all the shops and restaurants u look for. Another key thing is the though it's low cost architecture, it's maintained rich with the use of colorful paints!! There r plenty of displays of arrival and departure. Staffs are friendly too!!

N Anand (27/05/2018 12:45)
A great airport. Visited it twice at different time zone. Unfortunately it was closed at 2 am and opened at 6 am barring a few shops. Enjoyed my stay there

What a delightfully clean and modern airport. I loved it. Well laid out. Good signage, colourful, clean toilets. I'd give 5 stars if it weren't for lack of toilets in our departure lounge area. There was only a ambulant (handicap) one available.

A nice airport. Impressed on how low cost terminal has grown this big in Malaysia. Staffs are friendly. Various shop lots operation. Clean toilets. A fully satisfied guest I am. Well done, please sustain and improve even more.

Decent airport with nice staff, lots of shops and food options, but downside is the lack of 25 hour amenities and food inside the transit lounge, also chairs and nap long chairs were very dirty and you can see food crumps and stuff lying around and in between the chairs. Hence 4 stars, otherwise overall, it's a simple airport with generally all the things you need. But definitely can be improved.

Was there for a transit layover for 10 hours.

They have airport care ambassadors which is nice, different airport lounges but the movie lounge was a let down. They also have water coolers with plastic cups all over the place so that was very convenient.

The airport's site spans 100 square kilometres (39 sq mi) 2,[4] of former agricultural land and is one of the world's largest airport sites. An ambitious three-phase development plan anticipates KLIA to have three runways and two terminals each with two satellite terminals.[5] Phase One involved the construction of the main terminal and one satellite terminal, giving a capacity of 25 million passengers, and two full service runways. The Phase One airport had sixty contact piers, twenty remote parking bays with eighty aircraft parking positions, four maintenance hangars and fire stations. Phase Two, designed to increase capacity to 35 million passengers per year is largely complete. Phase Three is anticipated to increase capacity to 100 million passengers per year.[5]

This is international airport of Malaysia. Very much big & busy airport. Lots of airlines give their transit and it is the another main income source of Malaysia Government. They have very tight and help full security, nice accommodation service and inter terminal transportation service. But they have language problem with English. Large number of workers can not speak English. Here lots of Shop for food & shopping. They have nice & organized system for physically disabled & wheel chair accessible people with lift and parking. They have service officer who's duty is taking information from passengers and opinion of Airport Service.

One of the best international airports in the world. The directions/guidance placed for every activity is awesome. The staff is very friendly. Immigration staff is very friendly and cooperative. I loved their attitude. The airport has food options for every country people

Mr. Joshi (18/03/2018 02:17)
Great airport. Clean and well organized. A lot of good food options for a short lay over. Lots of shopping options there as well. Easy to kill a few hours here.

As airports go I would rate this 3.5. It is spacious, has many duty free shops but it has its limitations. The range of restaurants is limited with few global food brands. One part of the airport has just 4 restaurants and if you want more choice you need to take a train to go to the other section of the airport. There aren't enough elevators or lifts. Washrooms have only 3 per unit and these are few too. There is a burger king but hard to find as it hidden from view. There are no electrical outlets for sitting and working at the gates. The phone charging stations are one per 7-8 gates. Security check is repeated at the gates. Prices at duty free are not comparable to Changi or Dubai or Mumbai or NYC. But they are still good bargains. If you have children ensure you get snacks for them. Choices for children aren't many.

As far as airports go its pretty efficient, clean, well serviced. Quite a lot of shopping and retail choices. The same goes for food and drink options.
Most main airlines have a lounge here. Also other lounges available and general relaxing and tv areas. A couple of adjacent airport hotels too. Worth exploring.

One of the best International Airport in the world, it's more like a Mall like experience with lots of shops, fast-food outlets and other local eateries to take a good quick snacks or meals.
The best thing is that you can spend hours inside the airport and you won't get bored or lost. It's really a good place to enjoy the view of the fun and happy expression of the arrival passengers and also to see the love and affection of the family and friends when they are there to send their loved ones.
Besides these there is a viewing gallery to sit and enjoy the flight that come in to Malaysia and those that take off.

On the whole it is one of the best friendly and clean Airport.

Nice Experience: I have traveled to many countries, had a wonderful experience at KL international Airport. Duty Free Shops were offering really good deals and you have lot of eating joints to have food. People are really humble to talk and area is quiet big. But the only flaw is the arrival part is little out dated, not too many things to offer and no lounge on arrival. Rest I give this airport 4 Star and It offer Free WIFI at a very good speed.

Husni Jabir (20/11/2017 22:51)
Well organized airport. Friendly staff. Has nicely built waiting areas. The airport has sign board with sufficient information.

Transport facilities from the airport to Kuala Lumpur city is excellent.

The airport has many Muslim pray rooms.

Syed Haseeb (08/11/2017 03:30)
The biggest International airport of Malaysia which serves as the main gateway with lots of duty free choices available it's a fun shopping here.
Restrooms are clean & friendly staff's are available almost every where ready to help.
Many immigration counters but still to avoid delays or any mishaps I suggest to reach here as early as 3 hours from your international flight time.

Stephen Abraham (04/10/2017 20:48)
Very spacious airport, good connections and easily accessible. Everything feels clean and modern. Check in is fairly easy. The one thing I thought can be improved is that the departure hall limited seating chairs. Other than that all is fine.

CandyMan FlightChannel, Gaming and more! (30/09/2017 08:57)
Large Airport and with the toilets, they have actual toilets. Not that many squat toilets which I don't use.
I've only used them a few times, but I prefer not to.

Ashok. Gopu (24/09/2017 14:35)
Well maintained, clean place. Sign boards are well placed. Didn't face any problem till date

Vishal Jindal (07/09/2017 09:17)
For me the experience was nice, well maintained. Can get a temporary phone SIM within the airport. Friendly staff and people. Immigration line was not too big, hardly waited for 15min. for my turn in the queue.

Boris Vivares (24/08/2017 06:45)
Travel a lot though! Airport really need an upgrade for sure. After 50+ travel over 20yrs in Malaysia. KL airport still stay an iconic airport in SEA. Although Singapore take the flagship. Malaysian Authority should consider more investment and a drastic revamp of the premises to compete with other airport in the region. Also duty free selection and outlook need a big improve unless you like to walk a lot.
Improve pls!!!

Lolek Bolek (22/08/2017 02:31)
The laziest immigration I have ever seen in my life. I spent 2 hours (!) in a never-ending line of tired people while the two available officers were enjoying chatting and laughing more than doing their actual work. In the end one of them, a female, just got bored and walked away and the other laid back and kept on talking to whoever came to his booth. What a disgrace. Definitely the worst in southeast Asia. I will avoid it in the future.

Panini I (15/07/2017 06:03)
Inefficient and slow check in counters and no separate line for online check-ins as you have to stand in the same long terrible queue as everybody who hasn't checked in online (malaysia airlines).

Horrible queue times for passport control when arriving and leaving the country, the immigration officers take lots of time. It was funny that they bragged about receiving award for "best immigration service 2017", so ironic!

Great airport !
Clean , neat , comfortable.
Latest technologies and facilities .
Good restaurants and Eateries.
Very clean restrooms .
Place is constructed to help disabled people as well .
Aged people will also love the place with comfort.

Guillaume BALLY (13/07/2017 12:13)
C'mon...really...i didn't know it was possible to be that bad!!!! Had to wait more than one hour for the police check, only two policeman for over 200 foreigners. And do you gays know that you can show directions very easily?? Just put signs!
Good thing is Malaysians are really friendly and helpful. But c'mon, the first impression we have from a country is the airport.

Amy Landon (30/06/2017 03:02)
I would've thought an international airport would allow you to buy something/anything other than water to drink. Then, when you try to buy the water, there's a minimum charge, so you try to buy a bunch of other stuff you don't even want, to meet the minimum, but then discover they only take certain cards. Of course yours isn't one of them. Then there's no ATM in the terminal, so you can't get cash. Whatever you do, do not go in the bathrooms. They're disgusting & smell horrific. Come on KUL , at least pretend to be an international airport.

We've been travelling to and from Malaysia for more than a decade and are frequent visitors to KLIA. Good wifi and good facilities. Way too cold in the gates sometimes as the air con is set to such a low temperature, The ticketing and checking procedure is usually good without hitch, but this does depend also on the individual airline operators.

sam sia (25/03/2017 13:09)
This airport is thoroughly disappointing.

The carpet at the arrival immigration appeared so unkempt.

The air-conditioning was not working on the MAS Golden Lounge at the main terminal.

There were no usherers at the arrival immigration resulting in the Asean counter being used by all nationalities.

Wake up management of KLIA or Malaysian Airport.

aziph mustapha (22/03/2017 13:28)
To be brutally honest, Malaysia's premier airport and gateway to the world is getting a bit dated. Just a bit. But its no longer the cutting edge hands down best airport in the region. Don't get me wrong, its still one of the best airports in the world, based on cleanliness, ease of navigation, full menu of passenger services, friendliness of staff and many more attributes. It does have a honest to goodness rain forest within the airport satellite terminal.

Shopping is really good here especially in the international terminal. The staff are generally friendly and congenial.

Fitri Lengka Dwi S (06/03/2017 15:49)
Just like the typical airports (: there is an express train to go to KLIA 2. You won't be lost here.

Linson Joseph (21/02/2017 07:40)
One good airport where travelling between terminals is not so fussy. If you have time in hand you can may choose to visit all terminals and explore. There are places where you may sit and charge your devices. The restrooms are good. There's much to explore and travellators help you avoid too much walking. Some terminals may not have enough food to choose from. Water is available, though you may wish you had more place to fetch it.

Jonathan Greenstein (19/02/2017 09:48)
Nice airport. Having visited dozens of airports throughout Asia, KL ranks up there with Singapore in terms of eye appeal, ease of movement, amenities and overall experience.

The tram system is great of you want to pop over to one of the other terminals for a bite or to visit one of the lounges.

Immigration and customs has always been efficient and easy to move through both inbound and outbound.

Rayees Ahamed (17/01/2017 18:29)
Selamat Datang ke KLIA.😄. The voice once you landed will give a heavenly feel. Yes you reached Malaysia. Hot centre of Malaysia which connects with entire world. MAS airlines hospitality and airport maintenance is first class. Staff and workers are very nice and upto their duty.

Official Evening Frog (14/01/2017 12:12)
The best airport with very cooperative staff..And maybe the cleanest and sound airport..But very strict about criminal activities so BEWARE..🔴

James Johnson (26/08/2016 03:06)
Clean, modern, & efficient. Easily access the city with the rail link or if looking for budget, the Air Asia bus for 11 Ringgit a person is your best option.

Thumaty Daniel K (23/08/2016 10:09)
Looks quite but is a very busy transit airport.. nice facilities

Hamzah Ahmed (03/08/2016 15:23)
This place is clean, friendly and not stressful like some airports. Professional and welcoming staff. KL International is a clear representation of Malaysia's developing economy and the progress it has made in the last few decades.

Nelaka Samaranayake (22/07/2016 00:04)
Airport is reasonably kept clean but nothing close to Changi - Singapore. But the biggest caution is duty free. It is an absolute rip-off as when i compared a number of items with australian local prices, they were on average higher by $40 compared to Australian local prices.

pranav Batra (27/05/2016 10:48)
Clean air port

Rehad Rahman (27/05/2016 08:16)
Awesome!

Jez Duck (15/05/2016 00:26)
If you're landing at gate C. You need to take the shuttle to the main terminals. It's only one stop but not that well signposted on arrival.
