Pretty easy airport to navigate yourself though. Spotlessly clean & easily accessible for people with mobility issues.
Great WiFi connection and comfortable chairs to wait for your connecting flight.
At the view deck, you can see departure and arrival of aircraft on runway.
There is a capsule hotel at end of terminal if you need a cheap bed for an wee hour morning flight out.
You can find anything you need here from food to souvenir to books.

Nice, comfortable, and clean airport. With many shops along the way. But, it takes a long walk from the immigration check to the flight gate. It might be very tiring for elderly or people who are not able to walk for a long time. The good things is they provide something like golf cart to transport elderly and disabilities. Really appreciate it.
Really like this airport. I have been going to this airport for transit and will choose this airport for transit or for travelling around KL.

Visited this airport immediately after it was opened for public in 2014. Quiet spacious but very crowded airport. Offers connections to all over the world. Nice and clean. Hygienic washrooms and adequate check in counters

Pretty damn huge place. a bit tiring to walk but they got a buggy ride (but i never seen it works). got a lot of shop and restaurant. The restroom was nice and I get to exercise a bit here by walking. The cons is that the departing place is far and you gotta walk pretty far for it

Great experience in a modern international airport for Kuala Lumpur here. Has many shops and restaurants. It even has airport hotel too. There is a significant walking distance for some routes to check out gate, and from gate to airport doors. Watch out for your luggage on arrival belt, many have had their luggage stolen so be sure to get yours quickly after getting off the plane.

This airport is dedicated to AirAsia (main hub).
Huge in size . Lots of duty free shops (before and after immigration). Lots of restaurants and food stalls available. Helpful staff. Clean and well maintained. All types of facilities are available here.

A hub of Air Asia airline. A junction for all the flights to South Asia, South East Asia and Australia. The airport has many amenities for tourists and travellers. ATMs, Money exchangers, Duty free shops, restaurants, VIP lounges are some of them. Regular coaches are available for Kuala Lumpur central from the ground floor of the airport. Prepaid taxis/cabs are also available for places. Kuala Lumpur central is 1.30 hrs away from the airport.

It is a tourist friendly and a great service. You can get all you want here. It has a food court with a preferable food you want, and a small shopping mall-looks like. But, when you are transit on this airport, you need to be exchange your currency to RM. Because all stuffs will be sold with Ringgit.

I arrived early to enjoy my complimentary lounge access, but immigration took so long and ruined it. Plus it is very confusing how to get to your gate and could be signed out more clearly. There are lots of shops and cafes prior check-in as well as after.

Such a big and clean airport. Perfectly established seating and sleeping lounges. Well equipped with modern and completely updated tools. Lots of charging stations. Tight security. Complete under surveillance. Huge number of shops for duty free times. A very big food court. All the gates like L, P, Q are maintained well. Lots of coffee places for coffee lovers. For people who are having international transfers, you will have to go through minimum of two security checks. Also there are moniters with free internet provided. Finally a good experience for international travellers.

"They have H&M here?" That's the first question I asked myself when I was here days ago. Heaps of shopping, food, and entertainment option so you won't get bored. Wi-Fi is pretty decent and helped me update my social media with ease. Staff are friendly, especially those security guards I asked for directions several times. Toilets were not that clean but not in horrible conditions. Place is decorated for Christmas so it looks lively.

Such a nice modern airport and people are friendly yet for heaven’s sake put some signage out there !! Trying to get a connected flight is a real challenge, no signs for transfer desk, arrivals hall, baggage reclaim when getting off the plane, just some small signs for exit in Malay, invest a few hundred bucks after you spent billions to make this a really great future hub where people find their way around easily.
Andrei Calinescu (04/11/2017 23:28)
Pretty nice, clean, modern airport with lots of seating and tons of shops. Duty free prices were pretty decent too. Lots of durian treats. The staff were very friendly and helpful. It was nice that several eateries were open overnight in the secure area. The only downsides were that all benches were designed to only be comfortable for sitting, and prevent lying down, and that a lot of the electrical outlets seemed to be dead, even at the charging stations.

Make you go through immigration and emigration to get your luggage although you have an international connecting flight. Very long waiting time on immigration. Around fifty people per counter and only half are open. They sure take their time to take everyone's fingerprints and picture. I don't even want to get into Malaysia. Why can't I just get my luggage and check-in for the next flight. Will try not to transfer here again. Worst Airport I have been so far. Also tried to charge my phone at a charging station and none worked.

Being a low cost terminal the passenger is made to walk a great distance through the expensive shops just to checkin and walk miles from the aircraft just to get out of the airport. For passenger get on plane through gate K and international flight the have to walk and walk through the airport shopping mall. These people are budget traveller not shoppers. They want to fly and not shopping. The free buggy ride are usually not available when you need it. This airport is not for old folks, pensioners or family travelling with the young kids.
The airport planner need to put their thinking cap to make traveller have a pleasant flight and arrival experience. Design for user friendly in mind and not profit only. The toilet is still Malaysian standard. You don't need any sign ages the smell direct you to it. Trying hard to be 21st century but managed by 19th century mentality. The upkeep and maintainance need to be upgraded.

The immigration on arrival is very crowd and there is no queue system. Basically, everyone didn't know that there is a queue for every counter. Instead everyone just formed one queue unless you squeezed to the front. There is no crowd control.
For the good part, there are quite a number of food selection.
Johnathan Maxey (21/07/2017 09:19)
A real ratbag of a terminal housing the ultimate ratbag airline, Air Asia.
Check-in is always a mess, passport always crowded, and I have never been through customs without losing my cool with the many idiots not knowing how to queue.
This farce of an airport is like all of Malaysia's issues condensed down into one clusterf@$k of an operation. Do yourself a favor drive to Singapore and fly from there.
Yik Sheng Lee (20/07/2017 02:34)
Low cost but modern airport for domestic and international flights. Washrooms are clean. Signage to gates need to be clearer.
Malar Kannan Kanmalar Jegadesan (25/06/2017 08:53)
Visited a dozen times. True, it's low cost but the gates are inconvenient to board and more so to disembark, especially for the elderly and physically challenged. All the convenience and fancy stuff disappears once you leave the shopping and restaurant areas or in short you shell out money and move to the airline gates area. Many restaurants and shopping options before the gates. Many international gates are too far and the buggy service is not regular. Thick carpets making it difficult to roll the trolley suitcases.
almira khairaz (12/05/2017 03:19)
When we get here, is already midnight and we spend about 5hrs to take a rest in the arrival area. Its quite a comfy but make sure you bring your neck pillow or something. Lol
Martin Babinec (11/05/2017 19:15)
Pretty nice airport with a lot of shops and with very good food court with fair prices for airport (roughly doubled than you can buy outside).
Hari Anggono (04/05/2017 01:26)
Malaysia low cost terminal with excellent infrastructure and services for its class. It has express train and buses connecting to KLIA and KL City for our convenience. The shopping mall is tremendous.
The downside is the walking journey from entrance to flight terminal which might take a little more than 15". It's a low cost terminal and hence, that is still tolerable.
aziph mustapha (22/03/2017 14:49)
This is actually Malaysia's low cost terminal, but it doesn't seem low cost at all. It has tremendous shopping options. It does feel like you are in a downtown high end shopping mall.
Passenger services are adequate. This is a large airport, so if you get a far away gate, be prepared to walk. And walk some more.
Cleanliness is good, but not perfect. Staff are generally friendly.

Bandara yang sangat tertata rapi dan luas
Untuk yg pertama kali ke sini pasti lumayan bingung untuk keberangkatannya lewat mana, tp sebenarnya simple, cuma sulit d mengerti awalnya

Great airport. Fantastic foodcourt on the level 2m. I have been here at least ten times and never had a trouble to spend some time here. Take a bus to/from city centre for around 12 MYR.
nathan o'shea (05/03/2017 06:24)
Its a good airport, it could do with allot more signs, first time arrived it felt like we walked for days and had no idea where to go. You can catch a small car thing for free if you don't or can't walk much. Clearing immigration had been fast the last 3 times I have been there.
Other then the lack of signs the airport is designed well.
Marc Neubauer (14/02/2017 13:46)
It is a modern terminal. However, it is often very full and looks cramped. There is a generous amount of shopping outlets, but as usual on airports they all sell the same.
The distances you have to walk in order to get to a gate or the exit are ridiculously long.
Anthony Khayle Guillermo (03/01/2017 02:09)
It is a decent airport but it does need some work. Like the signage's need to be more informative and accurate on where it is suppose to be directing. The corridors are rather narrow in the departure hall. And the toilet needs some cleaning because it smells a bit. But overall it is airport is serviceable.
Manuel S Mathew (24/10/2016 16:25)
The airport is a much needed upgrade to the existing low cost carrier terminal. It is good. Has all the basic amenities.
Andy Chan (22/09/2016 12:33)
Purpose built for AirAsia carrier, emerging Asian airline. Just completed few years back. It's quite busy and operate 24/7. Many shops and food outlets there. It's huge and do allow time for your to get to your gate as it can take looooooong to walk. The most convenient way to get to city is by catching high speed train from the airport. Cost is reasonable and it's not always crowded and it's safe. Alternately, sky bus is also an option if train is not your thing.
Checking in is very convenient. Sometimes it can be very crowded.
CK Tan (17/09/2016 10:57)
More exciting than KLIA. however, the huge crowd and long distance to the terminal, passenger should plan more time for check in and walking to the gate. This airport awake since early morning, move fast, so that you wont miss the plane.
Suhail Saleem (30/08/2016 00:36)
The airport is very clean and has lots of options for shopping and dining. However, once you have crossed over to your gate, you literally have no options of places to eat and you can't go back to the central area of the terminal - big set back for transit passengers with a long waiting time.
Beware of the security check in area as well. The security personnel take away expensive perfumes for no reason - probably for their personal use. I had a 150ml bottle of perfume which was only one third full and they took it away because the bottle was a 150ml bottle. If it's good perfume and it's in your hand luggage, they'll find a reason to take it away. Make sure you only carry 100ml bottles, even if it's almost empty.

Klia2 is on of the best airport in Malaysia. Mostly budget airlines operations takes place here. In this airport the flight gates are far. Need to walk long to reach. So be there early to catch flight.due to immigration crowd,Might miss your flight. It's happened to my friends.
Lim Soon Sim (12/08/2016 07:19)
As budget airline Airports go this is not a bad one. The waiting areas are small but at least the air conditioning work.
Azizi Jennis (13/07/2016 13:47)
A huge, sprawling, frequently busy travel hub that's part airport and part shopping mall. There are many restaurants and high street outlets (including Uniqlo and Toys R Us)
