Avoid this place until they hire more workers. There were only 2 guys running up and down serving about 10+ tables. We sat and waited for 15mins and our table was not even cleaned from previous customers' leftovers. We just walked out with much disappointments as I've been here several times in the past. Stop giving business to the owner until they consider giving good service!

It depends on your expectation. It's a fairly simple natured environment. Can be hot on a sunny day even with the nice shelter. The place is not easy to find.. .the toddy is nice and I believe it's original and of good quality. The food is OK, just that even though they have many types of meat, namely iguana, chicken, wild boar, turkey etc... They only have 2 types of taste with different meat. The waiter service by the foreign workers, probably plantation workers working overtime on weekends is not up to par, service sometimes slack due to limited staff and forgetful foreign workers untrained waiters. Overall it's a nice environment with a difference. It's worth checking out. Trying something different from the norm.

Epic level toddy(coconut palm wine), kampung wildboar cooking and kampung monitor lizard cooking. Authentic relaxing feel under handmade huts at the backyard of the kampung house, surrounded by trees and monkeys. Last order is early by 5 or 6pm and strictly no more drinks after that so make sure you order to have or to go well in advance. Very authentic and relaxing place to chill out at.

Try their wild boar and monitor lizard curries. Amazing food. The toddy is good too but make sure you ask for a small pot. The big pot is just too much to drink

Up for an adventure in Malaysia? Do not miss this. Let's break it down to a simple two types of Toddy (Kallu). The first is OMK (single tree toddy). This is pure extract from a single tree, brewed and served. A little expensive and less alcohol percentage but taste really good based on my personal experience. The second is the common toddy. You can call it the mixed type. It's around 20% cheaper and each jug serving may consist different percentage of alcohol. If you're in for a kick and some nice pork curry meal, there you have it!

Beautiful palm toddy and good food. Price is abit above average, but it's all worth it. Order the toddy by the pots. Order food as you wish. Spicy food like mutton curry with toddy is fantastic. A bit far to come, and if needed, pack some toddy and bring home.
