So so so so soooo beautiful and peaceful and just utterly amazing. Perfect for romantic dates although i came with my family. Roaming peacocks and roosters! They are very tamed and adorable. Great customer service!

Pretty gd resort. Very clean but walkways n rooms could do with some refurbishment to make them more comfortable. Deck chairs on the balcony not suitable for senior citizens. However surrounding areas of the resort r excellent. Resort is lovely & breezy.

Location seems remote. Staff are all helpful, responsive and courteous. Rooms are spacious. Housekeeping amenities adequate. However, didn't replace cup. Maintenance of cabinet - did not replace knob and a blind seems to be in disrepair. Forgot to take my charger, called housekeeping which promised reply in half hour but no answers for 2 days already.

Facilities is great however the room look tired and old. Rooms need improvement. My room is watee chalet. the balcony is dirty. Bird sheet everywhere at balcony. Window blind in the room and toilet so terrible. its damaged already but been use.
Pool is great especially adult pool. Food was okay. Service quite good. Staff was friendly.

Excellent staff. Nice and peaceful environment. Great and private beach as 24 hours pool too. Will visit again on next trip.

Is nice and comfortable. The adult pool is comfortable. Buffet breakfast is so so. I heard is one of the best hotel in Port Dickson. There is a public bus number 32 pass by.

Love this place. The landscape and the rooms is amazing. Also the water challet can make you calm as the sea breeze. Not forget the staff also make you feel welcome. Thank you for the great service.

Stayed at premium water chalet. Difference between premium water chalet and normal water chalet is the sea view. Room was good while you have a semi-open air bathroom. However, the balcony was dirty and the chairs had dirt. Even had bird poop on the balcony railings. Breakfast served was good but not excellent. The hotel have two pool: normal and adult. However, guest simply didnt observe these rule and there waws noisy and loud children over at the adult pool at night. Overall I'm satisfied during my stay here but there is room to improve.

It is nice resort hotel partly on the sea. The hotel room is cozy and have direct sea view. The bath room is unique and open air. This makes guest feel like taking bath under the rain.

Loved it.. the views of the sunset and sunrise is great. You can expect to be pampered here.. peacocks and chickens roam the place freely and there are other animals for you to feed and pet.

Would recommend to many family travelling to this place..

Lots of things in hotel are not working or broken

Bathuma Batu Malay (23/09/2017 06:14)
Nice pool for children and adults, consist of mini pet zoo, white sand beach is just beside the resort.

Kaylee Kuah (02/09/2017 09:19)
Stayed at the water chalet and while it is quite peaceful I was mostly overlooking other people's rooms. The Wi-Fi is terrible, the staff were quite rude, additionally the pillows are extremely flat it's terrible for my back and neck and the bathroom really could use some work the sink and toilet both backed up. Definitely not a 5 star hotel and not worth the price.

Andres M. Trianon (27/07/2017 12:58)
2017.07.25-27 Too much room for improvement.

Attended an event with the family, with a significant level of expectation particularly because it was the first time that the youngest would be encountering the beach.

She did find some sand among all the garbage.

The concept of 'Private Beach' seems to suggest some form of oversight or responsibility, and thus one comes to expect things like a level of cleanliness that is nowhere to be found among the floating bottles and foamy brown water.

The room is spacious and has that Beach Resort feel: however, it should be up to the guests to decide whether they want to sleep in, and in order to achieve this we could use some blinds that actually stop the sunlight from entering the room with the brightness of a thousand suns every morning.

Smaller details that need to be improved include the friendliness of certain staff (one particular lady kept treating guests in a way that seemed that we were bothering her by asking her for assistance).

Oh, and since the noises from the outside are so easily heard, it would be great if you could use newspaper bags that are way less noisy, while also telling the gentleman who delivers it that a lighter foot would be very welcome since it's dawn.

The pool and facilities are nice, and the kids loved the pet farm and the private cinema room. The buffet is rather substandard, although some desserts such as the Strawberry Pie and Banana Split will keep you coming for more due to its generous use of ingredients.

All in all, unlikely to come again unless it's a Company Event.

Really nice resort. Good service, great pools, dinner selection is average, otherwise would highly recommend

Carine Van Logchem (12/07/2017 13:10)
Magical place, I highly recommend the deluxe watervillas. Staff is very friendly, food is really nice.

Richard Ajayi (24/06/2017 05:32)
Hotel is very nice, a little old in places but still in very good condition. Facilities are plenty with so much to do and see around the property. Also the room and restaurant staff are extremely friendly.
Breakfast has many options and the one dinner we had was also of good quality.

The beach is very close and very clean...

My one big problem was with the attitude of reception and the lack of a hotel shuttle bus to get us into PD Waterfront. Firstly let me say the reception staff where very efficient but lacked any warmth to us as guests, and at times not even lifting their heads to look at us when we returned back at the lobby from outside.

Regarding the lack of shuttle bus service I think that as the hotel is not within walking distance of PD waterfront this should be an option, as having to wait 20 minutes for a taxi every time we wanted to go into town to be called I think is unacceptable, as not all guests are local to Malaysia and have a vehicle.
When I discussed this many times with reception mentioning that we didn't mind paying but the waiting time was a problem, and it might be a good idea for the hotel to have a car and driver on staff their attitude was very poor and dismissive towards me even when talking to a member of staff who identified herself as a "duty manager"
I also asked if someone could possibly get back to me as I feel that if us guests don't mention something that we feel is a problem for us then " upper Management" will never know these things - up to this point many days after check out no one has got back to us regarding discussing this point.

This would most definitely stop me from retuning again to your hotel.

It is very peaceful. There are good staff. There is an amazing connection with nature there. It is great for families. :)

We must be the unluckiest guests ever. Came for a big sports event and stayed in one of the garden chalets. The first room had a faulty air-conditioning. The technician came and tried to service it. After a while he couldn't do anything.

So they gave is another room. And we had to move all our things to another room. After a while we noticed that it had the same problem. And they came again.

And they offered us a portable air conditioner after that. But it didn't work as well! Could hardly sleep in the stuffy room after that. And my husband was to participate in a triathlon in the nothing!

Really, I can't think of a worse stay in any other hotel.

The rooms may need a bit more renovations. Some of the power points are broken. The blinds are broken as well. Hot water is not consistent . Overall is ok.

Very nice hotel. Wonderful sea front view.

Allen TL Kam (21/01/2017 07:36)
Our last trip in Dec'16 wasn't our first. We enjoyed our stay and I'd especially like to commend Kumar and Saroja (the lady who mans the petting zoo and who's been there 16 years). They have this special enthusiasm which Management should continue to duplicate. Towel control was a down factor though as we only had 2 towels at the pool despite booking a family package

Shinas Raman (09/01/2017 16:58)
Beautiful place for vacation especially for couples and family with kids. Pet farm with rabbits and peacock on loose.

Sherenzakiah Muhamed Yusoff (14/11/2016 13:19)
nice and beautiful place. Come and spend time here with your love ones

Lé Coq Grandé (14/09/2016 13:28)
Great resort. World class hotel, facilities, dining and service. With the premium price to match of course! But it's definitely worth the stay.

Michael Tan (31/07/2016 00:57)
Avillion is not new. It's difficult to maintain a hotel which sits in the middle of the sea. But the incredible management has lovingly maintained this place through the last decade

ken Tee (21/06/2016 04:57)
Overall above average.
water chalet
Cons :
*facilities quite old. Outdoor wooden walkway/handrail/balcony looks very old.
*beach is muddy near the water edge cox it is man-made.
Pros:
*my daughter likes the mermaids. Swimming n take photos together with them.
*Like the rain shower, very good water pressure.
*like the sound of the wave during sleeping, and the cock crow during the morning.
*like the little farm wit rabits/ chicken/ peacock open free for children
*big nice pool for adult.

Will visit again when mermaids available.

This hotel is okay. I came in off peak on Thursday. It's nice and it's quiet. The rooms are spacious. The WiFi is really terrible. The problem with the garden chalets is I can hear kids at all hours from my room. I applaud them on having a vegetarian selection on their room service menu but it's not very good to eat. Also, on one occasion, I ordered room service and the person who delivered the food couldn't operate the room billing system so we had to pay cash. All in all, it's okay.

Antoine ERBACHER (01/02/2016 16:02)
Excellent place but...
- Air cond. too noisy in the chalet. Either you hear the sea waves (and it's too hot to sleep!) Either you cannot sleep because of the noise of your air conditionning...
- The ceiling fan had no variation speeds. Either off, either full speed ... and noisy!
- Decent breakfast.
- Excellent infinity pool for the adults only. No kids jumping or crying!
- Staff OK except the ones at the check-in / check-out desk. We had to wait 45 minutes to get our keys ("your room is not ready, please wait 10 minutes..."). It was 4:00pm!
- Spa is expensive but superb view above the sea during your foot massage (upstairs).
- Wonderful "lounge" with free sandwiches and drinks for the happy fews. Spend the sunset there.

A very good retreat 1h30 away from the busy KL.

Love this place! The viewing lounge is superb for the sunset. The staff is wonderfully well-trained. The place has been well kept - not common for Malaysian properties.
