Nice little lounge. Some food, hot and cold drinks, Tiger beer. Pleasant staff. Easy to find. Google knows correct location. Comfy chairs. Has free wifi.

Basic lounge with a few hot food items, soft drinks, coffee and tea, wifi, limited showers (towel from reception) and sufficient seating. Not worth paying for at the counter, but is sufficient if it comes with your ticket. Place is quite clean, cozy and quiet for a nap.

This is my second time here since this is part of the service provided to Premium Flex. Too bad that there is no improvement at all. Running out of foods. Require to wait for some time to get the foods and fruits refilled. No mineral water available. Mostly are soft drinks, coffee or tea, hot or cold water. There is shower room, but were informed by the reception counter that no towel is provided today (28th April 2018)- not sure is it only today or everyday. LOL. : (

It's a great place to burn a few hours while waiting for your connecting flight. Complementary food is ok, coffee is not great, but it's acceptable considering its part of the ticket price. All in all, Air Asia do a great job at an outstanding price point. They are my airline of choice. Wish they flew to the EU.

So glad I found this lounge.
I had bought an awful sandwiches in the airport that was so bad I did not eat it.
Then I realised I had an option of this lounge.
Take in account this is a budget airline so don't expect loads of food options & big sofas.
Realistically it is a modern, clean lounge which is quiet & comfortable.
I had a delicious curry & rice & a can of coke which was plenty. It was so nice I did not have my meal on the plane.
Worth a visit.

Disappointing, it's not premium, budget instead.
A very basic resting place with basic amenities and limited food (super-plain fried rice, local dessert, canned drinks, coffee etc).
Acceptable for travellers who need a place to freshen up and focus on laptop/paper jobs.
Otherwise, not recommended at all, might as well spend the money at outside restaurant with quality food.

Terrible experience with Airasiax. They say you can buy luggage on their fares prior to booking but when you try it the app comes with up with error after error and doesn't let you add a booking in order to "manage it" and add checked luggage. We even tried on the full website on both laptop and mobile device. Same thing over and over again. We tried for hours and hours over 2 days and no result. Rung the hotline and on hold for 30 minutes no answer. Completely useless.
We get to the airport and explain this to them as we continue to get the same errors all the way up to the cut off time. (You need to "manage the booking" 3 hours before checkin in order to purchase food, luggage etc at acceptable rates)
They charge us $400 AUD for 2 suitcases after speaking to a manager nobody cares or wants to help. Its absolutely clear as day we are having a genuine problem as we show screenshots with time stamp of error messages to ground staff. We also show him the manage my booking section that i had been refreshing all day which shows another, different flight that i added baggage too, and the flight in mention is not there.
The app then allows me to check in to the flight but still does not show up on the manage section.
This is all a big scam to rip customers off.
DO NOT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES THINK BY BOOKING A FLIGHT WITH AIR ASIA YOU ARE SAVING MONEY. THEY WILL RIP YOU OFF AND SCAM YOU OUT OF MONEY AND YOU WILL END UP PAYING MORE THAN A BETTER AIRLINE THAT DOESN'T PENALISE THEIR CUSTOMERS FOR HAVING A NON-WORKING SYSTEM WHO INCLUDE BAGGAGE ON THEIR FLIGHTS INSTEAD OF HAVING GLITCHES IN THEIR SYSTEM AT CUSTOMERS EXPENSE

Not great but comfortable enough as a recharging station. Very limited selection of food and beverages on a Thursday 5:30pm.. namely fried rice, fried vermicelli, curry puff, and some coconut cakes. Would appreciate some chips and peanuts.
Paxus Luna (27/02/2018 00:40)
Reasonable.
Some limited hot/cold foods. Basic Hot/cold drinks. Different seating options, inc some bean bags upstairs for a quick snooze or a relax. Some Tvs, flight departure screens, Overlooking the tarmac.
Was free with my flight, not sure about payment
Simon Rusden (13/01/2018 13:15)
To call this a "premium" lounge is insulting. Poor quality food with only 3 choices in a small space with 2 star hotel coffee machine, and you have to pay extra for beer.
I appreciate AirAsia is a low cost airline but they'd do well to have a look at the lounges other airlines provide and take some notes.
Will not bother to come here on my next transit.
Would leave 0 star rating if I could.
David Marcus (05/01/2018 12:10)
good for some peace and quiet and to charge batteries, but barely worth the cost of entry. Food options were limited to rice and noodles with fish, brownies or green apples. No bottles of water available, only cans of coke or sprite, and beer was extra. To top it off, the general airport wifi is faster and there was only one working toilet for men - if someone is having a shower, you better be able to hold it in until they finish! I'd rate the public toilet opposite the lounge higher.

It's ok seen it's free for airasia customer have rest place and food provide
Reuben How (27/10/2017 15:55)
I guess it is good by third world standards. This is the fourth time here, the showers remain flooded, the food leaves much to be desired.
Roy Pavithran (25/09/2017 11:37)
Need improvement. Shower area needs maintenance. Very few choices of food.
Its ok if provided free for air asia passengers.
There's a small sleeping area for a nap with many bean bags.
takashi kodani (15/08/2017 02:17)
I entered with AirAsia 's PremiunFlexTicket.
I took a little sleeping as the midnight flight was delayed.
There is a place that you can lie down on the second floor.
Since the time limit is three hours, attention is necessary.
Valerio Puggioni (14/07/2017 18:18)
10-hour stopover. Was told I could sleep upstairs with the bean bags. It was packed with kids. It would also help if the service desk asked the guests whether they needed local converters for the outlets. Five hours in, and I haven't slept a wink. For an extra 100 mry, I could've stayed in a hotel. My punishment for being too tired to check beforehand.

Wow, I was taken by a surprise with the kind of offerings they have inside this Lounge. Nothing like getting a charging point to charge your device, bean bags to stretch yourself, a nice an hygienic shower area to get refreshed and food to eat when you are hungry; and all this for free if you are a Premium Flex traveler. This place saved my day in my last travel from India to Manila when I had 9 hours of lay-over, great going team.
Jeff Laforteza (13/06/2017 12:25)
Not a bad lounge. I purchased access with my plane ticket. You get three hours. It's quiet. Lots of tables and chairs. Upstairs is a more quiet atmosphere with the beanbag chairs. Great views of the airport. Good internet.
Hot food could be better. Tonight was white rice, sweet and sour fish and green beans. Nice coffee maker. Coke and Sprite. Beer 15 MYR. Purchase at front desk. Not a bad lounge. Only $25 for me.
Marc Woo (06/06/2017 15:18)
Great ambience and amenities. Nice view of the tarmac and landing strip. Nasi lemak was served buffet style, which was decent enough to pass the Malaysian tastebud test. Beer requires additional RM15 top up though. Long walk and not for majority of fliers @ KLIA2, not AirAsia's fault though since the design was MAHB's doing.
Darla Lee (03/05/2017 12:52)
Quiet, clean, furniture all pretty and fancy. Great music. Food was just ok, one type pasta, one type chicken, one type veggie, one type tasteless choc cake, coffee machine, tea packets, sprite and coke in cans. Beer cans are charged RM15 per can.
Tradition Rider (20/04/2017 00:02)
Great place to relax before a flight. Small snacks, coffee and tea. Beer for purchase, no wine or liquor
Khashayar Farahani (18/04/2017 09:31)
Food is crap. Beds would've been nice... shower furnitures are broken, so was the toilet seats. Everything else was good. Fast internet too :)
Amanda Chita (09/04/2017 05:48)
Great service, a lot of electrical plug. Place is so comfy with nice tarmac view. And they have nap area with so many bean bag around. A nice place to kill the time during transit. But have to be aware of our own boarding schedule since they didn't give any information for upcoming flights boarding calls.
Rob (03/04/2017 13:58)
Awesome little lounge that has everything you need to chillout and relax before your flight. Wasn't very busy when I arrived so finding a seat was very easy. Food and drink selection is very minimal but sufficient. WiFi was great and fast. Only 2 unisex toilets available which is also part of the showers. Upstairs is the chillout room with a few bean bags to sleep on.
Note : International departure gates are about 5-10min walk from the lounge so make sure you leave early. You'll have to go through another security check as well which might add another 5-10mins to your trip to your gate.
Chris Tsai (28/03/2017 20:34)
my boarding gate at L but this lounge located near to gate P. very long walking distance from L to P then from P to L.
from AirAsia view point, It is a very good strategy to reduce visitor to lounge in order to cost reduction. bec a lot of passenger might give up after knowing the actual walking distance. where it take abt 15 mins per way. total 30 mins exercise time consume.
from premium flex passenger view point, it is not very good. only good point is let me have more walking exercise.
Howard T (29/01/2017 11:11)
Food choices are unbelievably terrible. The only foods available were coconut rice, sambal (chilli paste), curry puff and fried egg. Seriously? Not even achovies or chicken curry? Drink options are equally bad. Only coffee, tea and soft drinks. Beer (only tiger) is available at extra cost. It's easily the worst lounge I have ever been.
Toni Stanyer (14/01/2017 04:39)
Descent walk in lounge for roughly $20. Basic food, drinks, power outlets and wifi. There is a little snooze loft on the 2nd floor which was always full.
alison cramp (01/01/2017 08:27)
This was our 2nd stay in the lounge and I do not think I will bother to stay here next time. You have to be lucky to grab a bean bag upstairs as some people hog not one but two of them. We had an 8 hour delay so made ourselves at home upstairs. Not once in the 8hrs that we were there did any staff member come to clean away all the rubbish, plates and cups that were piling up! The choice of food is def not suited to us westerners as again it was cabbage, plain rice and curry. Then it was pasta, cabbage and curry. There was one lot of carrot cake and then some brownies came out. Only fruit on offer were red and green apples. You must leave your boarding pass and a deposit for a wall plug if you do not want to sit at the bench which takes all world wide plugs. At peak times this table is full. There are only two toilets for the ladies and the shower is also in them, so a long wait if someone is using the shower. Just go outside and there are toilets to the right of the door. No layback comfy chairs either. Not the best lounge that we have used. But for a very short stay, I suppose it should suffice.
Mark Newcombe (04/11/2016 00:15)
What a great relaxing lounge, super comfy bean bags upstairs with chargers available for your tablets and phones, hot and cold food available as well as hot and cold drinks with comfortable seating. Showers also available, just ask for towels at the entrance. For a budget Airline it's lounge is Awesome!
