The view is good, the foods are standard. The worst is, they don't know how to run this homestay when peak season is come. Bad.

The location is wonderful ...the food is not the best and not enough!!! Rats in the night. No food in the bungalows!!

A bit more upmarket and expensive then the other Homestays. Nice layout with a long pier.

One of the best homestay in kri island, get information from the staff, that all the worker who works in this place are actually the local people from Kri Island. In this jetty you can dive or snorkel with good underwater view. You can see a lot of schooling fish. And in the morning they usually give food to the baby shark. Some local said that the shark is tame, but please make sure you are not bleeding when you snorkeling under the jetty. Always keep the place clean, and leave nothing but footprints. Hope to visit this place agaim

New dining area, new jetti, good staff with dive center. Good breathing air. Well maintained tanks. Good guide. Rooms same as any of other homestays, don't expect too high. Had great week here. Recommended for budget travellers. Maybe the best homestay you can visit on Kri.

Yenkoranu is a homestay staple in Raja Ampat on Kri Island. If you want to live and eat like a local this is the place for you. Rooms and pricing vary depending on whether you are staying on the beach waterfront or further inland just back from the beach by a short distance of 50m or less. The basic standard room goes for 300 000 IDR with a hybrid toilet (seat, no tank) & overhead shower with your ensuite bathroom inside a private hut. Bed includes a mattess and mosquito net. Veranda has a cloth drying rack and a chair or two. Between some huts are clothes lines but its best to bring your own as there aren't lots and with steady humidity here its hard for anything to get dry without constant sun. Accomodatiom includes 3 meals a day which include a local cake style breakfast and then with a more substantial lunch and dinner with rice, fish or chicken, and vegetables and other fried items and watermelon or bananas for dessert.
Yenkoranu has an in-house dive centre with local dives costing 450 000 IDR with own gear or 550 000 IDR without gear. The House Reef right in front of the homestay jetty stretches both ways parallel to Kri Island and has some amazing coral reef walls that attracts all kinds of fish and reef sharks. House Reef is great for snorkelling or scubadiving. Day excursions thar include scubadiving, snorkelling and hiking to viewpoints or checking out other island villages can be arranged easily with staff. Costs vary depending on group numbers so going alone or together as a couple will cost more than bigger groups. Communication can be a problem sometimes for anything. Use SMS or phonecalls to get ahold of management.

Very nice location, the jetty is the perfect place for sunset while watching sharks and turtles swimming under you. Paradise!

Pleasant homestay with (basic) en-suite bungalow huts by the beach, with more accommodation slightly further from the shore. Full board and lodging, food is sufficient but only alright. Could do with more variety.
The homestay offers three dives or snorkel trips daily, except for Sundays when they have a rest day. You can also walk to neighboring homestays to join or get more people.
Great experience overall though, beautiful seaside!
