the place is very huge, make sure you came before 7 PM to secure your satay! haha. They have best beef satay you must try. combine with sweet soy sauce, piece of red onion and chili make this perfect combination you will never regret. The price around 60-70k per portion of beef satay.

Wow....never tried satay tasted like this before...so yummy. I dont know what spices they add, but they work. Blend perfectly. First time here was end of 2016 and returned in mid 2018. Still love the taste and will always happy to come back.
They also have large parking lot. Large dining area. Clean musholla and toilet. Kids play ground. And they serve very fast although in crowded time.

Toiletnya sekarang banyak dan bersih

Parkirannya juga gedeee diantara pohon pohon tinggi
kalo deket mungkin bakal often visit karena jauh jadi mikir mikir dulu kalo mao kesana... hehe...

Too far for me, moreover with LRT construction traffic, but the taste is delicious and worth the trouble to go here. You should try it, highly recommended. The price is cheap. During peak time especially at weekend, even the restaurant is huge, it will still be hard for you to find a seat and parking.

Nothing special. I dont know what special that so many people like it. Only the meat is bigger?
The taste, everything is same for me.
The rice is expensive and small.
Only special to me is the souvenir shop. I like it. Many unique item but of course will be pricey.

The satay is very delicious. But you have to be patience because they got so many customers especially on the weekend.
The parking lot is very wide, but you can still hard to find place because the crowd is too big.

Perfect place to experience goat satay. They also have other Sundanese food & souvenirs shop. Big parking area, kids playground & toilets are also available.

Waktu itu datang di hari kerja dan sudah ramai. Ga kebayang kalo weekend ngantrinya kayak apa.
Satenya enak, sop juga enak. Bakso hanya ada di waktu weekend saja.
Ada tempat sholat dan toiletnya juga bersih, serta ada beberapa mainan untuk anak-anak.

Love this place. It's strategic location. Lots of parking available. Many seating available. Good cleanliness too. Friendly service. The taste of beef satay great. And also the karedok taste good too. Don't forget the sambal with tomatoes within. Will come back here again

This the best place for have a maranggi satay. With outdoor concept they blend it with the nature. The recipe is very original and they not open any branch. You must try this satay. Is so delicious. So tasty. They have 3 variant meat, chicken, cow, and goat. The recommend variant is goat meat. The meat is very tender, thick and fatty.

Sate maranggi is grill beef in bamboo stick with local seasonings. the taste is great & very recommended. we can order soup here for side menu. the place is very popular and always crowd. but the food service here is quite fast, so you don't have to wait longer after you order to start enjoy your food. Don't miss it if you are around here.

Kalau anda cari sate kambing nya. Anda datang jangan lebih dari jam 2-3 siang. Apalagi weekend. Best Maranggi Satay in Indonesia are made from Domba meats!

Good open traditional place to enjoy soup (beef) and skewer (satay) ~ lamb, chicken n beef options. The specialty here probably is the satay source, which is spicy (blended between chillies and tomatoes cut, and other ingredients).

This place have great Sate Maranggi. The place is strategic, near the toll. Usually crowded at the end of the weekend. After Sate, there is a Oxtail soup and sovenirs store in here.

This place about 1,5 to 2 hours from jakarta by highway. It's takes 10 minutes from exit on sadang, then take left on cross road. There's so much choice on the menu list so you don't need to be worry to take your partners with. Very large parking lot and lot of huge tables that can serves hundreds customers in time, but sometimes you got waiting list in holiday. Fresh air from trees arround can fresh your mind.

It's my first time come here. Super delicious maranggi satay with authentic spicy tomato sambal. If you come here at dinner time on weekend, this place will be surprisingly full but you can get the empty seats anyway. Recommended!!

Super big place to eat satay. This place have so many tables for so many customers so it is almost impossible to not get a table to eat. But, it cost the time become longer for you to get your food.

Full of visitors, but still fast in service. The parking space pretty large. Delicious sate😊, but today you can't get soy sauce on bowl, the sauce poured directly to the sate😥

The satay is great! Service is quick, we got ushered to empty seat as soon as we got here. We don't have to wait for too long for food to come. Nice place to have lunch with your family.

The biggest satay house, convention for more precisely, I ever seen. The taste is good. I like the combination of the sweet ketchup sauce and hot fresh chilli, just perfect. But the main dishes, the satay, is just off quality. One skew contains 3 small pieces of meat, at least 2 sometimes all of them are fat. If you like eating fat, it's okay, but just not for me.

Possibly the best sate I've ever taste. There are 3 sate varieties: lamb, beef, and chicken. The lamb is the most popular one. It is served with a unique sambal pickle which enhances the taste even further (beware: very spicy).
There also other foods like ribs soup, gulai, fries, grilled fish.
Prepare cash, because payment is cash only.

Both roasted goat and beef satay are good enough couldn't miss to try although rather quite far away from Jakarta - Bandung main highway. This place is always crowded by travelers from Jakarta. Fortunately it has big parking area and plenty table and chair. However the waiters attitude need more improvement.

I'm not talking about the food.
The owner, the woman one. I can say that she has a very bad personality. What happening is my mom wrote the number of the order in a wrong way, and made the waitress bring too many plates. My mom already apoligize for the mistake she made. But THE OWNER, THAT WOMAN, give her (my mom) really bad service. She threw the order paper, and then left with angry face without saying anything. Not just that. A minute later, THAT WOMAN walked again and about to pass our table. My mom asked her nicely about the other food that had not coming yet. She (THAT WOMAN) saw my mom, about 3 seconds, and then left without answering my mom. WHAT A PERSONALITY SHE HAS!
Really, ma'am, you really need to fix that personality, if you still want your business to run well in the future.
Be FRIENDLY, please. We ARE customer and STILL human. Its a common thing to make mistake, and we ALREADY said "sorry".

Unique and nice satay. There's 3 options of satay meats: chicken, beef, or lamb. They also sell another sundanese cuisine (with good taste). The dining area is very big. Tge service is quick. And the price is also reasonable.

Biggest satay place I've ever been. Although there's hundred customers, the service is still great and the place is clean. It only took us about 15 minutes until we get our food although there's a long line to get the satay. The taste is pretty good, I like the mutton satay more than the cow and chicken.
Overall it'a a good place

Some said this is a legendary satay restaurant. In short, you must try this. Available satay in goat and beef.
Location is also very good, near of toll exit. You may see the crowded data from Google to avoid the crowd. But service is fast, though. So do not worry to wait too long for that.

Definitely not the most hygienic place in town, but if you are looking for delicious authentic local chicken and beef satay so called "Sate Maranggi" this place is definitely a must to visit

This is a good example of quantity over quality. They used to serve a good quality of lamb satay, but now satays have rather poor quality. The place too crowded with visitors.
Surely you can have a more delicious lamb satay elsewhere.

Sate Maranggi is the only reason to exit from toll and take detour. Must try, especially if you like spicy food. Don't forget to order es kelapa muda after you eat.

Great satay! Go earlier to order the sop buntut (oxtail soup), as it finishes fast. Leave with a very full and satisfied stomach every single time.

The satay is quite nice.. Sambal is a spicy yet delicious.
Also provides soto, gado-gado and various traditional dishes aside from the satay.
very crowded even on weekdays.
Be ready for full house on weekends.
