Hot water is available though limited. Power can trip sometimes. Location is good, very near Mt Bromo.

Had breakfast there. Enjoyed the simplicity of fried rice and noodles. The service is friendly. Overall a nice experience.

We were pretty happy with this place as a base of operations to tour Bromo. The rooms are a little overpriced, but you're paying for the location really, and the setting is lovely. We were here at the end of rainy season, and the whole town of Cemoro Lawang was often shrouded in mist, so it was quite cold some nights and the rooms often felt damp. This is what you should expect when staying on top of a mountain :) The staff were very friendly and helpful, and the food was alright. I only wish they had some big windows in the restaurant to take advantage of the fantastic views.

Not recommended. Would love to give a nice review BUT I ALMOST SWALLOWED A SHARP STAPLE, it was in hot chocolate milk. The thought of injury that would cause nullified the whole eating experience. "ohh, sorry said the kassier. You will get the chocolate milk for free".
Well, this should not have happened in the first place.
I am sure it is an incident but I think they take this possible life-changing event to lightly. The food looked nice though.

Great location as it was located near the entrance of Mount Bromo. The accommodation was also clean and pleasant.

Hotel is very close to view point path and sea of the sand local shortcut, just 100m. Location is perfect.
Hostel has 5 types of rooms:
- Economy, 120000. Small tiny room, for 1-2 ppl. Shared bath. No kettle, no ac, no towels. Just bed and small table.
- Standard, 400000. Bigger room, big window, wc, kettle and cups. No ac. Breakfast included.
- Superior, 500000. Big room, table, tv, wc (gas hot water, no limit), kettle, complimentary tea and coffee. Towels, shoes, etc. No ac. Great view from the 2nd floor.
- 2 types of family rooms.
We stay one night in Economy room and one in Superior. Economy is good for one night. Superior is very good for longer and comfortable stay.
Ask for the 2nd floor Superior room for the outstanding views.
- Shared bath was clean. Private bath was clean, but little bit outdated.
- No Wi-Fi. But Telekomsel has 4g.
- No AC or any heater. If you are from the south it can be cold in the night. And it's quite humid all the time because of the clouds. So no chance to make it dry or warm.
- Staff is friendly and English-speaking.
So it's quite good hotel, good location, but little bit overpriced.

Best place to stay if you want to visit Bromo. Little bit expensive but compared to the other homestays / Hotels it’s the best deal you can make. The staff is very friendly and speaks English very well. The breakfast was one of the bests we had on Java! I would recommend to book via phone or email to make sure they still have a room! Only the sheets an blankets could be a little bit cleaner.

Location cannot be any better. Room was clean, spacious, warm and with hot shower. Make sure you have breakfast included and you show up early, as it's probably the best in town - it is typical for many people from other accommodations to come eat here. Staff speaks great English and are very helpful. A bit expensive stay, but worth it. Make sure you book your room well in advance as its always fully booked - also, reservations are only done by phone...yes, that is right. However, they seemed to manage it really well!

The food here was supposed to be great, but once the big eating-room was full they were heavily understaffed (maybe because holyday). They only seemed to care about the guests with the most cash, forgot one one of our 3 dishes, and we even found an insect in the rice. At least we only had to pay one, but it could, and for a place with this reputation should, have been handled way better. The small warung two houses down the street had way better customer service, and great food.

Room was clean with a superb view over the nearby mountains. The hostel food was good and very cheap, offering a variety of Indonesia and western cuisine.
Water heater was good given the cold climate, however the lack of room heating meant that one would feel the cold air the moment one exit the bathroom.
