This is similar with Celebes. One of five big island in Indonesia. There are two big city in this island: Manado and Makassar. The nearest island to Philippine, especially North Sulawesi.

Been coming here for 13 yrs we have a house here ..beautiful islands great food n ppl .. worth a visit lots of hotels too choose from in manado cheap to expensive ..

Like to experience real antique Indonesia? Sulawesi is the place to be! Great (beach) sceneries, original rainforest, local fresh fish, equator crossing. And nice and kind people every place you go. Still few tourists so nor yet spoiled by Western society... 😊
