My fiancé and I had a wonderful 2 night stay here while visiting Bromo Mountain, and overall I can highly recommend staying here.
First of all the WiFi is fast and reliable. Second - the rooms, while maybe a bit on the small side are clean, comfortable and quiet. The staff are all very welcoming and friendly (taking care of guests to the point where you feel more like family!) which really makes this feel like home. Lastly - they are more than helpful when you have any wishes - like booking a tour of Mount Bromo (at fair prices!), organising nicer than usual transport to and from the train station, or renting motorbikes or even a car.
The rooms are built into converted shipping containers which at very nicely decorated inside (you wouldn’t know it was a converted shipping container if someone didn’t tell you), and everything is quite new - contrary to other places in the area. Everything is very clean and very well taken care of.
The food is also excellent and quite delicious! They are always ready and waiting for you if you want any meals - unlike other hotels in the area (that greeted us with “the kitchen is closed now - no food available”). The Ecolodge staff are happy to prepare you delicious breakfast lunch and dinner!
Overall - I would highly recommend staying here if you are in the area and would myself stay again anytime. Don’t be disappointed with other places - stay here and enjoy a reliably relaxing time!

Nice little place near Bromo to spend one night. But rooms are ultra small, just one bed and only space to put 2 backpacks. Very small bathroom too. Menu have only 7 selections but food is good.

Clean and friendly staff..👍 Great landscape for sunset view in cafeteria. Very quiet and away from the crowded.
