Good budget/backpacker accommodation. Clean rooms, helpful staff, good food, good priced (food and rooms). Cold water showers to be expected.

Plenty of choose for the Breakfast (even a real butter). The rooms are ok. But the musicals ambiance are a great moments for everybody.

Loved our stay here. Very clean, wonderful food (the ladies are such good cooks!) The family is so friendly and welcoming and helpful. And the view! But most of all - the music and singing. Are all Batak people as musically talented as Hasan and his family? Rate Laster Jony's very highly. Cheaper places are available, but this place has an unbeatable atmosphere.

Clean, safe, great people, tasty food, top impromptu entertainment. This is not the Ritz, but for a genuine Toba experience, it's hard to beat.

Very nice staff! This guesthouse serves good and cheap food and the huts are just in front of the water. Perfect place to meet other backpackers!
You can hire scooters but be aware that there is no insurance.

Tried to book a room at this guesthouse on Agoda, ahead of my trip to Toba, for a total of 100000rp a night.
The night before my flight, I get an email saying that there was "an accident" in the room, instructing me to cancel and book somewhere else. Emailed back but didn't get a reply, so I cancelled.
An hour after, I see the same room available on Agoda. Now at 150000rp. (There was only one room left both times, so...)
Couldn't leave a comment on property through Agoda because I had cancelled, but figured I'd warn prospective customers.

Интерестный отель. Если вас интересует местный этнос (батакская хижина) это для вас. Условия проживания самые простые (кровать,туалет он же душ но горячая вода есть) . Персонал отеля молодые ребята (каждый вечер играют на гитарных и очень классно) веселые и добрые. Готовят вкусно и не дорого. Вообщем кто без претензий на бытовые условия и в рамках бюджета это место для вас.

Großartiges Gasthaus - tolle familiäre Atmosphäre. Tina bereitet sehr gutes Essen für einen kleinen Preis zu. Weiter besteht das Angebot einer Massage für 100K IDR / Std. Absolut empfehlenswert!

Nos encantó pasar dos noches en una casa tradicional batak. La familia del Laster Jony's guesthouse nos trató de maravilla. Hasta nos acercaron al puerto en moto para que no perdieramos el ferry. La comida también genial!!!

Очень приветливый персонал, каждый вечер песни под гитару, Гамлет поёт просто здорово. Бесподобная кухня и довольно умеренные цены. Комната 100К в сутки, горячая вода не во всех комнатах. Вай фай не очень быстрый, но хватает. Если будете здесь, передавайте привет от Ивана из России :)
