Historical coffee shop in Tarakan. Uncomfortable place especially in morning. But the taste is delicious.

Best place for knowing about Tarakan socialite life, especially elite people. Tarakan people said many people gather in this place: from bad guys to policeman, from journalist to politicians, and from civilian to soldiers. This place always full with people for a long time. Usually, they chat while enjoy the meal and beverages. Some of them are politicians. In this place, they make politics lobbying and discuss about Tarakan city condition.
This place one of oldest cafe in Tarakan city. The building made by wood. Contras with building surrounding this cafe which is mostly concrete building. On my first sight, this place was not interesting at all. But, when I come with that fact I mentioned in first and second sentences, it is more interest place to see Tarakan city real condition.
Like the others cafe, this cafe also offer coffee, tea, and snack. But they taste is really good for me. My favourite menu are Tarik Coffee, Tarik Tea, and steam bread. Most of meals and beverages import from Malaysia. Instead of instant noodles from Indonesia, we can find instant noodles from Malaysia.

Best local coffee shop in town and It seems the most popular one too, both for locals and travellers.
Delicious milk coffee, buns, porridge, noodles, toast, and lots of local foods!
Recommended visited on breakfast. Very crowded but definitely worth it.

Maybe it's the most popular coffee shops in tarakan. There's many variant of food and beverage, but most people take the "cemilan" like ote-ote, untuk-untuk, or grilled bread with sarikaya. It's a little bit pricey, but if you want to get the old and real ambiance of coffe shop in tarakan, you should come here.
