Great place to stay when you are in Brunei. Have a big room, big bathroom, beautiful views over the ocean, and nice swimming pool also can play canoe there

Absolutely Fabulous! Do not miss a visit or several! One of the most beautiful places you will visit. Take time to have tea & cake you will not believe how good & elaborate it is, it's never ending - Not expensive!
Go for a swim in the enormous outdoor lake/pool overlooking the sea.
When in Brunai you must spend time in the Empire Hotel, you will love it!

A truely grand hotel with magnificent beach front view and there is no hotels in Brunei that even come close to this. All staff were courteous and professional. I was greeted with a warm welcome as my wife and I arrived on a local public bus that dropped us off in front of the front lobby.

High end hotel and resort with a beachfront. Very ostentatious decor but tastefully so. Didn't stay there but visited to have a look around.

outrageously huge Hotel - apparently once built for Royalty but deemed to vast and opened as Hotel - you could spend a week here and not have done everything available to do, or you can just soak in the pools or ocean. I hope to return one day...but remember if you like to drink alcohol you can't buy any here ;)

Insanely beautiful place and incredible customer service. The pool and facilities are so ridiculously quiet too, the must stay place if going to Brunei

This place is huuuuge and very luxurious. Just keeps going on. Coming from Singapore, it's excellent value for money for the gigantic rooms and facilities. It's quite clear why so many Presidents and Prime Ministers stay here when they visit.

Always the best, I like the food, coffee, the ambient and the whole nine yard of it . Meeting for coffee is always the best, the room is great, pool is fantastic plus the view. Best of the best. Love it.

Beautiful structure, amazing view. Many facilities (beach, pool, etc) and they are very well maintained. They have buggy service because there is some distance between their bulidings, but still within walking distance. Very efficient hotel management too. Their staff is super friendly and offer a service with a smile!
Great holiday experience, family didn't feel like going home.

nice location with great views. They have a super swimming pool and Jacuzzi. The service staff are amazing and go the distance to make you happy. gym and sports centre are great. I wouldn't give it full five star as the place is showing wear and tear, a 3 star quality breakfast, and lacking the entertainment value

Stayed on the 13th October for one night with my boyfriend and as soon as we drove up and entered the hall, I was blown away by how beautiful it was. The room was extremely luxurious and the pool area was just incredible for an evening dip, watching the sun go down. The breakfast was nothing short of offering everything and all I can say is I utterly miss the place now being back in the UK. Nothing was too much trouble for anyone also.

My guide told me that this is a 7-star hotel, and I can see why.. just going around the place, it is huge and kept clean. Even the comfort rooms are quite elegant. Nice to stay for a weekend getaway.

This is more than five star hotel. Amazing Customers service.
The staff at front desk were very nice. The check in supposed be at 2:00pm. We got here at 10.00am. They check us in and gave us beautiful room.
The hotel is beautiful with stunning location. It's also huge.

Food is ok while staff service is really good. The design of the hotel and country club looks good. In the bowling some lanes usually don't work. Membership is a decent price and the empire is very clean.

Loved d food as always but haf to say their front door and concierge services has sooo much improved; courteous, friendly and proactive. Excellent experience all around now.

The place is TOTALLY awesome. We only visited the place and ate our breakfast here and roam around. This hotel is very very expensive and not recommended for budget travellers.

The Hotel tells everything you need to know about brunei. The architecture, the elegance and the class that this hotel portrays gives you the feeling of being a royalty! Kudos to this hotel, indeed, this is one of the world's best!

Good WiFi, large rooms and they're clean, too. Ocean view looks stunning and lots of things to do like swimming, going to the movie theatre or bowling (and there's more than that).
Breakfast is limited and not too much to my liking, which prevents a five star rating.

This was a very grand place and had some lovely scenery. The pools outside were lovely just to relax in and sit and watch the day go by. The beach is not the best but still has amazing views during sunset.

A place for a weekend getaway, family or even a honeymoon getaway. It has a lot of facilities that make it worthwhile to just stay in and use all the facilities. Always try to book a room with a view overlooking the ocean. Big outdoor pool area for both adults and children (Kids Club) and indoor pool. Gym, bowling and badminton court. Spa, 18-hole golf course are within the hotel. Many dining restaurant to choose from especially Pantai which is situated near the ocean will provide a nice atmosphere when dining.

Book here so many times. This place is amazing. Certainly luxury for less. On my last visit the staff were so helpful and, I really like being greeted a reception with a small shot of juice and moist towel to freshen up. Rooms are huge and really comfortable.
I would strongly recommend using the spa as the massage therapists are world class!
Can't wait to visit again. :)

Great facilities and good value at international rates unless you experience a problem with service. Issues have for me occurred too often for five stars

Visited the Empire hotel, Brunei for lunch. Wonderful hotel. The interior is magnificent. Helpful staff. Peaceful. Many sea side rooms are available here.

The best hotel in Brunei. It is a 5 star hotel with a very nice sea-side view. The interior design of the lobby is superb! They have a wide array of dining available especially during festive days such as New Year Eve dinner.

Grand atmosphere. Friendly service. Decor is a little dated. But the beach views and outdoor areas are amazing.
