This is the station you need to go if you want to go to Semporna.
The other one near by is for long distances such as Kota Kinabalu.
Here are mini vans without specific schedules. When they fill up then they drive. I paid for one way to Semporna 15 ringgit even that I read that the price is 10 ringgit. Probably I paid the Bule(foreigner) price. The ride was 2 hours almost

There are a number of bus stations in Tawau catering for different needs, destinations and distances. This station caters for Semporna, Kunak, Lahad Datu and even Sandakan which are all on the East coast of Sabah.
Although it is a bit hard for the buses to move in and out of this place due to the narrow roads and heavy but passengers would find it rather convenient as it take only a walking distance to the banks, supermarket, mosque, government offices and post office.
