I came here with my wife at 8 pm last week to enjoy the Japanese cuisine. We ordered Salmon Teriyaki Don, Una Hana Maki, Hana smoked Salmon sushi, caramel pudding, Ocha (tea) and 2 plates of sushi from the sushi train. The price was affordable and is within the standard of Japanese cuisine. They were all very delicious especially the Una Hana Maki. However, the Salmon Teriyaki Don could've had a larger portion as the rice was not even 1/3 of the bowl. Also, there were less variety of sushi on the sushi train (there were only 5/6 choices and we kept on seeing the same ones over and over again). The service was quite fast, the staff were very polite and always asked us whether we need anything at all. Overall, we'd give it an 8/10 for the evening dinner and we enjoyed our time there. And, do try their Una Hana Maki!

They re very efficient when there s not a lot of ppl. But when customers are swarming in, somehow staff became a headless chicken

Foods goodish, but the service and ambiance are lacking. They need to address these before I give them a better rating.

Visiting Brunei as a 10 year Japanese Sushi Chef and was very disappointed to see that Excapade calls their food Japanese. Their sushi rice was extremely wet and tasteless. They put way too much rice in their sushi rolls (not enough filling). Salmon Sashimi was not fresh and has a very fishy taste. On to dessert. I ordered the deep fried matcha. The batter was overly thick and had no flavour. The ice cream inside inadvertently was very little and quite doughy due to the uncooked batter (extremely thick). Overall, I wasn't impressed with the food. The service was very poor as well. The waitress that served us did not come and check up on us to see how things were going. We had to ask multuple times to get a refill of green tea. And when I asked for a glass of ice water, I was told that they don't serve ice water, so I was given a glass of boiling hot water where my parents weren't able to take their medication. I had asked another waiter and he gave me a glass of ice water immediately. That was the first and certainly last time I will be stepping foot in that restaurant. I will definitely recommend others to go elsewhere for Japanese food.

Been eating here for more than a decade. Things get more expensive but the quality is always good, and food is always fresh.

The food cannot be called Japanese food and the raw fish is so unfresh it can be borderline carcass.
