Bus is a good alternative to the spare taxi offer in the city. Line one will take you you to Jamie Mosque and the 45 line to the law court area. Nearby are the coach departures to Miri.

Bus numbers are clearly marked. I only noticed one sign with the bus routes. Understanding buses in Brunei for the tourist needs to be seriously developed. Still, people will tell you where to go and be helpful. Only $1, so very cheap. I expect writing this in 2017 that in 5 years tourism will be more developed, including a better explanation of buses in Brunei.

Central depot to take local busses into and around the city. Best option to get out to the palace from town.

A little bit confusing. This is the central hub of bus transportation in Brunei. Wherever you want to go you've to go through here.
