They have 2 great traditional houses from both Northern and Southern style on display and an interesting collection of items.
Their website has a lots of information to offer on traditional villages, megalith and culture. It's also possible to stay at the museum in their accommodations and to enjoy the beach from there.
They have done a remarkable job at preserving traditional houses in numerous villages by funding renovation work.

This place do care everything about nias culture and history..you should come here for knowledge about nias and recreation.

A good place to visit when you're not sure where to go since its have plenty than just a museum. The beach is good for swimming with reef scattered around. A mini zoo is also there, featuring crocodiles, monkeys, and more. They have a cafe too. This place has everything.

Nice place with a lot of informations about the Nias culture and history. It's not allowed to take pictures inside the museum.

The mini zoo, restaurant, and there is swimming pool. Good place to visit /hang out. The place is clean and looks beautiful.

A must if your visiting Nias Island and interested in the culture and architecture, the grounds are well keep, many quiet spots and small outlets to serve you light meals and drinks, great attractions and nice pleasant view to the ocean as well. Now the Museum has accommodation in traditional Nias Houses this is a must if you have the time to stay over

Nias Museum is one of the most comprehensive museum in Indonesia, and Especially Nias which keep, store,preserve and care for historical objects of Nias. Here we can learn briefly about history of the tribe of Nias through museum guide, there also book store that sells books and scientific literature about Culture of Nias.

Family fun time is suitable here. They offer mini zoo, sea water pool, museum. Entrance fee per pax is cheap. Unfortunately, it requires major refinement.

We stayed 3 nights in the Hotel, and it was really nice!
Everything was very clean and the Stuff is very kind!
Thank you for the nice days!
The only criticism is the breakfast, only one dish a day is available and the quality was not the best! I hope they can fix it in future, than it would be perfekt!
