A too deserted public space in the middle of this heated small city of Ponorogo. Lack of attraction offered in this place is probably the cause of few people coming and enjoying this square. Lots of trees need to be added to compensate the heat and too much sunshine.

This is the downtown of Ponorogo Regency. A beautiful and wide place for everyone to come. You guys can just walk around, enjoy the view by taking a photograph, play with your beloved children, or coffee with your friends.
But remember, sometimes there are some singing beggars come to the visitors. Just give them money then they'll go.
In addition, today, the government of Ponorogo always tries the best effort to make this place more clean, tidy and comfortable for the visitors.
So, enjoy your time in Alun-Alun Ponorogo😊

If you wanna go there, I suggest to came at ramadhan - eid fitri. There's night market (and fair) and it sure has many fun rides for children.

When there is event in this area the place could be awesome but too many street sellers. Too crowded and too many people walking without direction.

A wide and pleasant area to hangout with family and friends, and also good for enjoying "Reyog" dance on every full moon or every big events like "Malam Suro"

Clean, tidy, great for walk around. But the traffic is heavy. Park somewhere close to this area then walk

public area at ponorogo, east java. If we go there in eid, we can find night carnival in field of alun-alun. Many rides, for example ferris wheels, haunted house etc. also many food vendors that we can find in there.

This alun alun provides a lot of things to buy, you can also eat the nasi goreng or anything else, this is a cheap solution

It's cheap, you can get food, home stay, budget convenience store, and do some exercise. Even concert sometimes. But toilet will be "smelly", bring some alcohol gel when you go to the bathroom.

Kindly come here at the end of Islamic year so you can watch the annual Reyog fest, a wonderful traditional art show. Must be worth it.

This city square is the real alun-alun where is the central activities of this town. If you expect this alun-alun is just park like in other town, you are really missed.
Not just a park, there are always any gov. activity or event here such as Grebek Suro, Wayang show, Reyog Mini Competition, Fun Walk etc. You should consider it as festive alun-alun.
Need to be more organized. Some side are messy with street sellers. Street singers are also a bit annoying too.

This place is suitable for enjoying the afternoon with kids at the central of Ponorogo.
We can also do jogging on jogging track in the morning.
